  • Why someone that can bet with Pinnacle Sports, 5Dimes or SBObet would want to take a chance and place bets with bitcoin sportsbooks that will probably not be around long enough to pay?

Some of the bitcoin sportsbooks that you listed remind me of the egold bookmakers that became popular few years ago. None of them lasted very long.

    • Plus500 and Spreadex also bet on bitcoin.Plus500 I hadn't heard of before, but Spreadex have been around for a long time.
However,Plus500 charge 10% over LIBOR to maintain a position.Spreadex charge 5% ove LIBOR - but their sreads on Bitcoins are pretty wide.

      • I think ElvisBitcoin asked for a list of Bitcoin sportsbooks where you can bet using your bitcoins rather than bet on the Bitcoin value.

Personally I would not touch any of the Bitcoin sportsbooks listed above with a 10ft bargepole.

        • Pier is right - I asked about Bitcoin sportsbook. But I think you're skeptic :-) I tried 3 of the list - got the winnings instantly, withdrawn instantly. I don't have to wait to get the funds, I can do short bets and get the money...
Why not Pinnacle, 5 dimes? because they don't accept Bitcoin. I want to bet with Bitcoin. There's a reason for that - it's expensive enough to buy bitcoin, but I do think that it will reach $1,000 in value within a year, so it's more profitable for me to bet it and win with it rather than buying it... I don't need them to last long... I play now with my winnings (like the stock market, take your investment and keep your winnings into play) and so far the strategy works out good...
All I ask if there's more because it's still good like Pier suggested to spread the risk :-) I enjoy 2 of the 3 that I play very much.

I'm actually surprised that Forbes doesn't require writers to disclose their involvements/interests in the topics they write about. Then again I imagine "contributors" contribute free article, so it's a win-win situation.

Forbes has fresh content all the time and these so-called contributors peddle their little agendas.
