I hate living in debt.

Had to take out a car loan at 15% when I had a bad wreck a few months after my divorce several years back. Divorce is like an atom bomb to your credit. Paid it off pretty quick though.

Best thing I did was when I was earning the most money during about a 7-8 year stretch was pay 2x and 3x house payments. Was able to pay off 30 year note in 17 years.

Nut is very low now. Very few bills. Finally paid off student loan a couple of years ago too. Only one CC discover and I pay it off every month.

I hate living in debt. Even on big scores back in the day I’d always pay stuff down or off. Guess it was always my nature
Good job, BigJay. There is no peace of mind with debt.

I don't understand people with lots of CC. Is it really necessary?

If you haven't already, take a moment to review your credit report for any discrepancies. Additionally, consider improving your credit score by paying down existing debts and ensuring all bills are paid on time. When applying for loans, shop around for lenders, including traditional banks and credit unions. They may offer more competitive rates, especially if you can provide collateral or a co-signer.

A good approach to avoid potential fraud is to stick with well-established banks with a solid reputation. Look for reviews online, and consider asking friends or family for recommendations. Additionally, always check for official contact information on the bank's official website rather than relying on unsolicited calls or emails. If you want personalized guidance tailored to your specific circumstances, consider seeking advice from experts like Mortgage Advice Essex. They can offer professional insights and help you choose the most suitable bank for your needs and goals. It's always a great idea to have expert support in navigating financial decisions.

JJ, I got your voice message , I was traveling. I told you. I can no longer give you small loans, it is not beneficial to me. Minimum is 5k from now on. God Bless and may Christ reign supreme!
Good idea flyingillini. Set the loan rules and stick to them even if dealing with friends.
That way there can be no confusion.

And of course enforce the terms of the loan.
