CK, I have a few stories about that car:
1) Michael Jordan lived in Highland Park, one of the suburbs north of Chicagoland.
2) Highland Park was a few towns away from the Bull practice facility. Don't quote me on this. But the Bull practice facility was possibly Northbrook.
3) Highland Park to the United Center was at least a bit of a drive.
If you were a resident of that area (Highland Park), you could expect to see that car flying by at high speeds at least once in your time there. After game-nites at the United Center, the cops gave Michael a free-pass to fly in that area. After 10pm there wouldn't be much traffic.
I've heard that story many times over. If you were driving after game-nite, expect to see that car flying by you on the left doing 100+ mph.
