Futures odds are one thing, game-to-game betting is another thing, and of course there's live betting....

But I want to win my bracket pool!!!

What are your tried-and-true strategies when it comes to filling out your bracket?

I won my pool in 2013 by tailing Joe Lunardi's bracket verbatim, but that strategy has not worked since

BTW - here's the updated futures odds, for those who are curious

strategy depends on number of people in a pool. if it's a large bracket pool with 100+ entries or even 1000+ entries, then take underdogs as far as you want them to go. Assuming most people take chalk, in large brackets the 1-2-3 round points are more impactful as tiebreakers.

If you can pick some underdogs to advance you will gain points on the competition

At the end of the day, you need to pick the champion and likely both finalist to win large pools

great call! my pool is usually somewhere in the 80s for participants, so the underdog method may need to be implemented....Looks like Furman is heading to the Final Four!
