Kentucky basically can't fire him because of that "lifetime" contract they gave him. It costs 33 million dollars just to buy him out so as a Kentucky fan I hope he does the right thing and retires as coach of Kentucky because he's running this program into the ground.

Calipari is a great coach. He played the hand he was dealt and the players didn't come through like they should have.

Experienced backcourt wins in the tourny. This just really showed up with Kentucky last night. They had 4 freshman guards playing a lot of minutes and they only scored 23 points amongst them. Dillingham and Edwards had 10 each. Reeves and Wagner total of 3 combined.

Yep Cal's heralded freshman were overwhelmed by the moment. Reed Sheppard was a no show last night as was DJ Wagner. Dillingham didn't take over like we've become accustomed to. I don't think Cal is a bad coach but his style doesn't work anymore. That's why I'm ready to move on from him as a UK fan.
