This is my top drivers weekly paycheck.

Just finishing up payroll and came across this. To get good help you gotta pay. This guy's a beast. He's a hustler and one heck of a driver.. Never thought I'd ever find a driver similar to me that never stops hustling just like me. The dude is a go getter man.. Help like this is hard to find. So pay the man what he's worth. He worked his ass off for it. I can say he definitely earned it.

It's not for everyone. Being out almost a month and not going home and missing everything is tough. I loved driving and still do miss it but I was driving my life away.

Damn - I am in the wrong side of the business. good for them though - it’s a rougher job physically than a lot of people think it is - but hey, if you can balance the job and a life -good paying gig and never hard to find work.

I also see daily the shit these drivers have to deal with and hear some interesting stories from the road - the I do - the more I think I will just sit in my comfortable desk chair at home - work 9-5 M-F and not have to deal with the other idiots on the road.

If it were just the idiot 4 wheelers out there - maybe I could do it (doubt it - but maybe). From what I have seen - 20% of the drivers have no business on the road though - and the only reason they are is a result of either companies to cheap/greedy to hire competent drivers - or 1 man operations who are just squeaking out a living running 30 year old equipment and cutting every corner possible.

In 12 years that I drove I always was looking to put myself in a better situation even though I love to drive. Its in my blood. But yeah. Some truck drivers are the biggest babies. Especially on the CB. Some are worse than bitches. I heard so many crying that their woman has been fucking the neighbor for years. One guy was actually crying about it. Felt bad for that dude. When I drove I hit every state except Washington,Oregon, Montana,South Dakota,North Dakota ,Minnesota and Michigan.

I’m an expert in this field if you’re single guy or gal, it’s definitely not a bad thing but if you have a family, it’s basically an 80% divorce rate and your children turn out to be losers because of an absentee father

You cannot be a good father if you’re not home every day or even a good husband

Alot of companies rip their drivers off. That's bullshit. That's why they have those dudes that don't belong on the road. Half can't even back the truck up let alone drive. Alot of them are here today and gone tomorrow. Companies and drivers Both. They go through drivers like I change my underwear everyday.

Thanks. Oh for sure @BMR Genie I was once there doing what they do. And I always just wanted to be compensated correctly for my work. I would bust my ass just like this guy. I changed companies once when I started and the guy ripped me off for a whole month of work on the road. BTW, we reap what we sow. He started smoking crack he lost his company and lost his wife. You can't go around screwing people over thinking something good will come of it. You will eventually get yours. What goes around comes around. That's facts.
