BetMGM, one of the renowned sportsbooks in the industry, has announced the enhancement of its online casino gaming platform in Michigan by integrating European developer Push Gaming into its catalog of titles in the Michigan market.
BetMGM Bolsters iGaming Platform
In an expansion of what occurred in the Ontario, Canada market in December, Push Gaming’s library of titles will now be available exclusively on BetMGM’s online casino gaming platform in Michigan beginning soon. Push Gaming’s popular titles, such as Big Bamboo and 10 Flaming Bisons, will be launched immediately on the BetMGM platform, with more titles being added in the coming months.
The exclusive online casino games migrating to BetMGM’s platform will also include proprietary titles through BetMGM’s in-house gaming developers, like MGM Grand Gamble, MGM Emerald Nights, and Bellagio Diamonds.
When asked about further Push Gaming integration into one or all of BetMGM’s other iGaming markets, like Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and West Virginia, Bentley stated:
“This launch is more than just a milestone. It’s a strategic step towards establishing Push Gaming as a market leader in North America. By building on our strong collaboration with BetMGM and delivering standout content, we’re confident we can grow a loyal and engaged player base in the US.”
All in the Family
Although the Push Gaming titles will now be integrated on BetMGM, its parent company, MGM Resorts International, purchased the company through its European iGaming operator, LeoVegas, on May 1st, 2023.
Gary Fritz, president of MGM Resorts International Interactive, noted why the company took the leap and purchased the iGaming developer at the time, saying, “The acquisition of Push Gaming by LeoVegas is consistent with our vision to expand MGM Resorts’ digital gaming presence internationally to grow our capabilities and products over the next several years.”
Push Gaming employs north of 100 employees who have all remained intact since the purchase two years ago by LeoVegas, and continues the synergy required by the parent company to integrate technology that is similar to theirs and a vision shared by both teams.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Push Gaming to our extended family,” said LeoVegas chief executive Gustaf Hagman at the time of the sale. “The management team at Push Gaming has had a phenomenal journey, quickly growing the company from a small start-up to a player with outstanding proprietary content and a strong customer base. We look forward to contributing to their continued success moving forward.”
