Now with the 2025 NFL season moving into November, we are seeing the Super Bowl odds heat up after the Bills beat the Chiefs for the 5th regular season in a row on Sunday.
But the NFC’s potential Game of the Year is coming up next when the Packers host the Eagles, and the NFC West looks to have a few NFL Super Bowl contenders, making this a crucial time to review the latest NFL futures odds from top-rated sportsbooks.
2026 Super Bowl Contenders to Watch
The odds on the Super Bowl winner will likely change often this month with so many big games in November between contenders, including teams like the Chiefs, Bills, Packers, Eagles, Colts, Patriots, and Buccaneers.
But in a season where teams can look great one week and terrible the next, we have to start with an update on the team trying to make it to a 4th-straight Super Bowl.
Kansas City Chiefs (+600) at Bovada
Some sportsbooks have put the Chiefs behind the Bills after Sunday’s 28-21 final where the Bills really bullied the Chiefs in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
But the theme there is the Bills have now defeated Kansas City in 5 straight regular-season matchups while going 0-4 in the playoffs against them. Can they do it in January?
The difference this year is the Chiefs aren’t guaranteed to make it to January. You know the sportsbooks are high on the Chiefs when they are still a Super Bowl LX favorite when they wouldn’t even make the playoffs if they started today.
Fortunately, the Chiefs get a bye week to get the offensive line healthy and work some things out as they’re 0-4 in close games while beating up on teams in their wins.
Patrick Mahomes is still playing great football and you can’t doubt him, but maybe this isn’t the best time to bet the Chiefs. Let them slip further in the standings and get them with plus value later to go on their run as they’re still the team to beat in January.
Philadelphia Eagles (+996) at Bookmaker
We tend to forget about teams on their bye week, but the Eagles (6-2) just got a great break from the Packers losing to Carolina and losing tight end Tucker Kraft to a torn ACL.
The main competition for the Eagles getting back to the Super Bowl appears to be coming from the NFC West this year, as the 49ers, Seahawks, and Rams all look formidable. But the hope is those teams beat each other up and the Eagles will still have a shot at the No. 1 seed again.
Philadelphia is a very good pick at these odds as the team is a proven winner, has been to 2 Super Bowls with this core, and the Tush Push isn’t banned yet.
They also got to 6-2 against a tough schedule without playing anywhere near their best football, and they are good on both sides of the ball too. Their odds will only get stronger if they beat the Packers and Lions these next 2 weeks, so you may not get better odds than right now on a Philly repeat.
Seattle Seahawks (+1400) at Bovada
To win the Super Bowl, you generally need to be elite on at least one side of the ball.
The Seahawks are top 5 in scoring on both sides right now with Mike Macdonald’s defense thriving and Sam Darnold having an even better year than he did for Minnesota last season. His connection with Jaxon Smith-Njigba is outstanding.
Of course, the elephant in the room is Darnold choking in the big games as he did in losses to the Lions and Rams to end last season.
We’ve already seen him have a pair of game-ending turnovers against the 49ers (Week 1) and Buccaneers this year, and he may have to get past those teams like Detroit, LA, and the Eagles in January to get to the Super Bowl.
But right now, he’s playing very well, and he’s backed by a strong defense.
The Seahawks are a solid dark horse choice at these Super Bowl odds while the NFC West is very much up in the air. It could be very telling which direction that race is going in Week 11 when Darnold is facing the Rams defense that sacked him 9 times in January.
What We’ve Covered and Next Steps
In looking at the current Super Bowl odds, we think the Eagles provide the best current value, while you can never count out the Chiefs. Seattle is our top football prediction for a dark horse pick.
Here are the games that should really help swing these Super Bowl odds in the month of November:
- Week 10: Eagles at Packers
- Week 11: Chiefs at Broncos
- Week 11: Lions at Eagles
- Week 11: Seahawks at Rams
- Week 12: Colts at Chiefs
- Week 13: Bills at Steelers
