The NBA Play-In tournament concludes tonight. First, the Chicago Bulls travel to Miami to take on the Heat.

The Heat fell to the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, while the Chicago Bulls defeated the Toronto Raptors in Toronto on Wednesday. Who will advance and grab the #8 seed?

Then the Oklahoma City Thunder face the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Thunder are another #10 seed to win a game. Can they continue their unlikely run? I’ve taken a look at the NBA odds board to find the very best player props. Tonight’s exciting action gives us another opportunity to make winning NBA picks

Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat

Friday, April 14, 2023 – 07:00 PM EDT at Kaseya Center

The Miami Heat fell to the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night in the first round of the NBA Play-In Tournament. The Heat struggled to rebound, and Atlanta’s ability to dominate the offensive glass was the Heat’s undoing. The Heat made a run in the second half but it was not enough, and now their playoff lives are on the line when they host the Chicago Bulls tonight.

The Chicago Bulls became the first number 10 seed to get a win when they defeated the Toronto Raptors in Toronto on Wednesday night.

The Bulls have been playing excellent defense since the addition of Pat Beverley, and that defensive acumen was on display in the win over Toronto. Zach LaVine led the way for the Bulls in crunch time, and this Bulls team looks to have the offensive firepower to be able to defeat the Heat.

Zach LaVine’s Prop Pick

Zach LaVine has taken over the Chicago Bulls offense. At one time, things were evenly split between him and DeMar DeRozan, but now LaVine is the primary creator on offense. In the win over the Toronto Raptors, LaVine had 39 points in 40 minutes. LaVine has the athleticism to beat even the best defenders, such as Jimmy Butler.

Zach LaVine is the Chicago Bulls’ leading scorer and he will put on another show tonight. LaVine has always had the ability to get to the rim, but now with a more accurate jump shot, he is lethal from anywhere on the floor.

LaVine is playing with house money, as the Chicago Bulls were not even expected to be here. Our first player prop for the evening is Zach LaVine over 26.5 points.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Friday, April 14, 2023 – 09:30 PM EDT at Target Center

The Minnesota Timberwolves were leading for most of the game against the Los Angeles Lakers but could not get things done in the end, and fell in overtime. Karl Anthony-Towns led the way for the Timberwolves and he had a fantastic performance leading his team. Unfortunately, co-star Anthony Edwards had one of his worst games as a professional, and it was not enough as the Timberwolves fell short.

The Oklahoma City Thunder became the second number 10 seed to win a play-in game when they defeated the New Orleans Pelicans in New Orleans on Wednesday night. The Thunder showed poise in crunch time, where Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with key buckets.

Josh Giddey had his best performance as a pro and was one rebound short of a triple-double. The Thunder are a red-hot team with nothing to lose and they come into tonight’s game with confidence. The Thunder have already exceeded expectations this season, but how far can they go?

Kyle Anderson

Kyle Anderson has led the way for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Timberwolves are a young team and Anderson has brought leadership. Last year that role was filled by Pat Beverly, but now Kyle Anderson is the team’s steady veteran.

Anderson had 12 points and 13 rebounds against the Lakers. He should be able to find his shot more easily tonight against a Thunder defense that is smaller and won’t present the same issues that the Lakers’ defensive size did against the Timberwolves.

Anderson played 45 minutes in the last game, so we know he will be on the court for the majority of the evening. If the Timberwolves are going to have a chance at the win and securing the playoff spot, Kyle Anderson will need to have a big night. The second player prop for the evening is Kyle Anderson over 12.5 points.
