The Toronto Blue Jays lead the World Series 3-2 and will be headed back home for Game 6 tonight.

The last time the Toronto Blue Jays won the World Series was in 1993. But they’ve got a chance to win it all tonight.

With that said, the Blue Jays will send out Kevin Gausman, who will face Los Angeles’  Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Can the Blue Jays shut the door, or will the Dodgers force a Game 7 for tomorrow?

Read on to find out our best World Series picks today.

World Series Picks Today At-a-Glance

Below, we’ll provide multiple picks for tonight’s World Series Game 6. The Dodgers are looking to win back-to-back World Series titles, while the Blue Jays are looking to win their third World Series ever.

Tonight’s pitching duel will also be a good one. Yoshinobu Yamamoto has a 1.57 ERA in the postseason for the Dodgers, while Kevin Gausman has a 2.55 ERA in the playoffs with the Blue Jays.

Let’s get to our best bets.

Los Angeles Dodgers (-142) vs. Toronto Blue Jays (+120)

Friday, October 31 – 8:00 PM EDT

The Dodgers are set to pitch Yoshinobu Yamamoto tonight. The right-hander has struck out just 23.4% of his last 111 batters. However, he’s still managed to allow just a .078 ISO and wOBA of .203 during that time. In addition, he’s secured 55.7% of ground balls and has allowed no more than 20.3% of line drives or fly balls over the last month.

Toronto’s lineup doesn’t strike out often. It’s also collectively hit a .212 ISO and wOBA of .369 against righties over the last 30 days. However, it certainly won’t be easy against Yamamoto.

On the other hand, Kevin Gausman has allowed a .174 ISO and a wOBA of .255 for the Blue Jays over his last month. He’s struck out just 19.1% of batters and has allowed 48.5% of hard contact with 33.8% of fly balls in the last month. He’s only induced 30.9% of ground balls over the last 30 days.

The Dodgers have had their struggles with strikeouts against righties. But Gausman isn’t earning a high rate of strikeouts. If the Dodgers put the ball in play against Gausman, the Blue Jays will be in trouble. Los Angeles has hit over 49% of hard contact and a 12.1% barrel percentage against righties using the projected lineup over the last month.

Let’s back the Dodgers to force a Game 7.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Toronto Blue Jays (Total 7.5)

Gausman is ace material. But he’s just been super lucky over the last month. He’s allowed a .156 BABIP over the last month, despite a low strikeout rate, high ISO rate, and low ground balls induced. Eventually, Gausman is going to crack. It could be in this game.

While I’ve got the Dodgers winning, the Blue Jays are still performing well offensively. Expect Toronto to put together some good at-bats to at least put a couple of runs on the board.

Consider the Over 7.5 (-112) in this one.

Will There Be a Game 7?

Ultimately, per the analysis above, the expectation is that there will be a Game 7. You can bet on the Dodgers to win tonight’s game or consider the Dodgers to win the series at an even better price. However, the Dodgers would have to win both games to cash that ticket.

Still, if the Dodgers win Game 6, you’d have a +EV bet for Game 7 with the Dodgers. That’s not a bad look. Ultimately, if you agree with the Dodgers to win Game 6, get in on the action as soon as possible. Timing is everything in sports betting!
