The Blue Jays have a pitching and hitting advantage tonight with the hometown crowd behind them, while the Brewers continue to thrill their fans, firmly ensconced in first place in the NL Central, and should have an easy time of it tonight against the Snakes.

Lastly, in what is our best bet of the day, the Tigers should bare their claws tonight and maul the A’s at their minor league facility in Sacramento. Make sure to follow us for all of our MLB picks throughout the season.

The MLB picks I post today, like the Blue Jays, Brewers, and Tigers with their corresponding odds, don’t stay stagnant forever. Odds, run lines, and totals are dynamic, which means the moneylines and run lines you see here may not be around by gametime.

This means it is important that you get the sharpest line available, and the only way to do that is to get down immediately on the games and make sure you have an active account.

That’s right, make certain your account is funded, and perhaps get accounts at two or more sportsbooks so you can compare the numbers. Make sure to get down at a place you trust and at the best lines or odds available.

Toronto Blue Jays -167 at Heritage Sports

Sometimes you have to fade the pitcher in your MLB picks, and that is precisely what I’m doing here. Minnesota’s Bailey Ober has been a hot mess recently, losing his last 11 consecutive starts dating back to May 25th. That’s an awfully long time to go without a win, and to amplify that point, we should note his 4-7 season record with a 5.06 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP.

Moreover, the last time Ober faced the Jays, he was lit up for five runs in a 6-4 loss. Although Toronto’s starting pitcher, Chris Bassitt, will remind no one of Roger Clemens in his prime, he’s at least averaging a fairly respectable three runs per game for August.

Milwaukee Brewers -150 at BetOnline

The Brewers are crushing it this year with a league-leading .623 win percentage, but when they are home, they are even better, boasting a .672 win percentage at American Family Field. Meanwhile, the Snakes are slithering through another mediocre season, and this should be a decent spot to bury the Brewers and fade the D-Backs.

Jacob Misiorowski will take the bump for the Brewers, and the 6’7” rookie has been on a careful pitch count this season. However, it should be noted that he has struggled in his two starts since returning from the IR with a left tibia contusion.

Yet, Arizona’s starter, Brandon Pfaadt, has not exactly covered himself with glory during his recent outings, and we will gladly back the more powerful lineup in this matchup.

Detroit Tigers -150 at Bookmaker

The A’s are playing at Sutter Health Park, home of their Triple-A franchise, while their stadium in Sin City gets built. But we should note that the Athletics own an even road record but are 11 games below .500 at home. Obviously, the home cookin’ isn’t very tasty in Sacramento.

Detroit has won four of its last five games against Oakland dating back to last September. The ageless Charlie Morton will be on the hill for the Cats, and his last two starts have been vintage. He allowed just two hits against the Twins on August 15th in a 7-0 win. Morton followed that gem up with another sparkling outing when he pitched six full innings again and allowed two runs on three hits in a 7-2 victory over the Astros.

Morton should have no issues with this lackluster lineup, while Oakland will scramble to fill in for scheduled starter Jack Perkins, who landed on the IR.
