Drafting Michael Penix Jr. with the eighth overall pick was the shocker of the 2024 NFL Draft after the team had given veteran Kirk Cousins a boatload of dough in the offseason. That has the unmistakable air of an owner meddling in his coaches’ business.

Speaking of coaches, the Dirty Birds have a new one as Raheem Morris was welcomed back into town after replacing Arthur Smith who posted three consecutive 7-10 seasons.

Miami locked up Tua Tagovailoa for the next four years at a total price tag of $212 million. Needless to say, he’s the face of the franchise for the foreseeable future assuming he can stay healthy.

The Fish also have plenty of weapons in their offensive arsenal including Tyreek Hill, Jalen Waddle, and a terrific 1-2 punch in the backfield with Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane.

This should be an interesting game but I like the Dolphins in this one even though many of their stars will either be sitting or have limited playing time.
