Caesar’s standalone sports betting app now has two other markets to add to its growing list of states whose customers can access parimutuel horse betting from one app instead of having to download a separate horse racing app.
Just in Time for the Belmont
Illinois and Indiana are the newest markets in which Caesars has added convenience to its sports betting app by integrating horse racing into those platforms. The list of states now numbers seven, as Illinois and Indiana join Colorado, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, and New York in those markets where horse racing is fully integrated into their sports betting app.
The announcement comes hot off the heels of Caesars announcing that the integration had taken place for its customers in Kentucky and Colorado shortly before the running of the Kentucky Derby.
“Integrating pari-mutuel horse racing into the Caesars Sportsbook app is a significant milestone for both our digital business and the sport of horse racing. Our customers will be able to bet on horse racing, whether it’s the sport’s biggest events or daily races from tracks around the world,” said Dan Shapiro, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Caesars Digital.

In addition, hundreds of tracks and thousands of races will be live-streamed and available for betting throughout the year on the Caesars’ sportsbook app to horse racing aficionados and bettors alike in those seven states.
Tracks such as Aqueduct, Saratoga Race Course, Gulfstream Park, and Santa Anita, along with Caesars’ partner tracks such as Del Mar, Monmouth Park, Keeneland, and Red Mile, are all available on the Caesars sportsbook app in those states. It is expected that Caesars will continue to expand its parimutuel horse racing to sportsbook apps in its other markets in the near future.
Caesars has a long history with the Sport of Kings and is the sponsor of the National Horseplayers Championship hosted annually at Horseshoe Las Vegas, one of Caesars’ many properties. Tracks like Harrah’s Columbus, Harrah’s Hoosier Park, Horseshoe Indianapolis, Harrah’s Philadelphia, and Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs are also operated by Caesars.
