Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp meets his footballing kryptonite this week, an Italian side away from home. The German has struggled overseas, mainly while playing against Serie A teams where his record is now 0-5.
Klopp's UCL performances overall have been lacklustre in comparison to his domestic tenure. If Liverpool stands a chance this week, they are going to require a defensive restructure from Klopp.
Nobody expected Atalanta to remain unbeaten across their first 5 group stage fixtures in the 2020/2021 UCL tournament. Last season they presented the opposite, losing their first five matches.
Now facing a rocky Liverpool defence, I would not be surprised if we saw the relentless attacking pressure of Atalanta succeed in defeating the English champions.

Manchester United have been average during their domestic run, but don't look now, United have won nine consecutive away fixtures in all competitions. More impressively, six of those nine wins saw a clean sheet in favor of the Red Devils.
Istanbul Basaksehir were never tipped as a challenging underdog this year, but they are struggling more than we expected. Two losses and no goals leave the Turkish side in turmoil at the back heading into a clash with English giants Manchester United.
Istanbul has suffered back to back defeats in the UCL group stage, both contests ending with a 2-0 scoreline. I anticipate these struggles in attack to continue, especially against the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his Manchester United squad.
Score Prediction: Istanbul 0 – United 3

Defensive issues at Chelsea seem to be a thing of the past; manager Frank Lampard has steered his side to an impressive 4-game streak without a single goal conceded. Also, Chelsea is unbeaten in their previous six fixtures and sit at the top of their UCL group on goal difference.
I expect a rough trip for the French side Rennes, attempting to collect points from the group's most formidable team away from home is a huge ask. They have scored just five goals in their previous six fixtures and have looked lost during their UCL stint thus far.
Sevilla and Chelsea are the two teams battling for the top spot in their UCL group, and if goal difference is the clincher, Chelsea should have it in the bag.
