Spanish racetrack operator files complaint against Zeturf and RaceBets

Madrid racetrack operator Hipódromo de la Zarzuela filed a complaint with Spain's online gambling regulator DGOJ to block access to the websites of Zeturf and RaceBets from Spain.

According to the complaint, Zeturf and RaceBets, domiciled respectively in France and Malta, and unlicensed in Spain, should be blocked from illegally offering horse betting products to Spanish people.

The racetrack operator also called for Spanish horse racing bettors to avoid participate or contribute in any way to activities that do nothing to support the horse racing industry in Spain.
