This week, we preview the Procore Championship 2024, the opening event of the PGA Tour’s fall series at Silverado Country Club. Let’s break down the latest betting odds from top-rated sportsbooks before placing any bets.
Procore Championship 2024
September 12 – 15, 2024 at Silverado Resort and Spa (North Course)
What Is the FedEx Fall Series?
The fall series brings the PGA Tour professionals an extra opportunity to improve their ranking into the top 60 which means entry into all of next year’s big events if they did not finish in the top 50 after the BMW Championship.
The other aim and main goal for many will be to lock up their coveted top 125 place for their full playing privileges in 2025.
Course Notes
- Silverado Country Club, North Course
- Par 72, 7166 yards
- Designer – Robert Trent Jones 1966 and Johnny Miller redesign 2011.
- Bentgrass Poa Annua greens
- A tight driving course so accuracy off the tee and to the green is a premium this week.
Weather Forecast
The weather looks set fair for the coming weekend in California with perfect conditions for a low-scoring week in Napa.

Is Spaun Primed for Fall Series?
J.J. Spaun finished the 2023/2024 season in possibly the most consistent form of his career and the Californian, will be happy that the restart of the FedEx fall series is in his home state this week at the Silverado Country Club.
With two top 11 finishes at the Procore championship in his last four years, we know Spaun is well suited to the test in Napa particularly the greens that he knows well.
After a poor start to 2024, Spaun finished strongly with three top 10 finishes bookended by his best result of the year, a 3rd at Wyndham Championship.
Spaun's area of play that he could improve on, is his work on the greens because the rest of his game tee-to-green has never been in better order during those last six starts, to promoting his FedEx ranking to #98.
That ranking means the thirty-four-year-old from Los Angeles has maximum motivation for the coming weeks and a reproduction of his last start, or better work on the greens will see him contending here and throughout the fall.
I suggest backing J.J. Spaun in the outright winner market with our best sportsbook Bovada, and in the top 10 at this week's Procore Championship.

Why Back Zac Blair for Props Bet?
Zac Blair has finally found his feet on the PGA Tour during the last two seasons.
Last year was a good consolidation for Blair who was backing up a previous campaign when he sprang from nowhere with a shock runner-up finish at the Travelers Championship to gain his playing privileges.
The thirty-four-year-old was able to have a proper season in 2024, playing 21 events for #115 in the FedEx standings with another runner-up finish at the ISCO Championship when losing a five-man sudden-death playoff.
Naturally with that ranking just inside the top 125, the new fall series is a must-play for Blair and brings the Utah native maximum motivation to lock up his tour card for 2025.
Certainly, Blair has a strong affinity with the Procore Championship, with three top 20 finishes, and a best finish of 4th in 2019, to illustrate how much the track in Napa suits his eye.
Our best sportsbook, BetOnline specializes in an extensive range of place markets, and we suggest making Zac Blair your banker props play this week in their top 20 market along with a speculative play in the top 5 section and as a longshot winner.
