Yet the Golden Knights came away as winners and there’s no doubt the Stars players and management were not happy about the result despite the performance.
Dallas has to win tonight or they will likely be sent packing in round one by the reigning Stanley Cup champions. The Stars were favorites to win this series prior to game one. The top-rated sportsbooks had them priced up at -130 but now they are as high as +135 with the Golden Knights going from +140 to -140 having won the first game.
We can’t look past the Dallas Stars winning this one in regulation at +115 NHL betting odds, we believe this to be some strong value not only because they should have won game one but also because their moneyline odds are as low as -140 to win this second game of the series on home ice.
