Rating: 6.8

Our Verdict

A mid-tier online sportsbook with an improving reputation.

America’s Bookie is an offshore sportsbook that has been targeting American bettors since launching in 2004. It is part of a larger group of online sportsbooks owned by RDG Corp. Sister sites include Canada’s Bookie, 1Vice Sportsbook and Bet33, which is well known for its 33 Club.

Some customers at 1Vice reported payment problems many years ago, but they were ultimately paid out in full. We were able to upgrade America’s Bookie and 1Vice from C- to C in our ratings guide, and they are now both widely regarded as legit, trustworthy sportsbooks, having behaved with integrity for several years. However, America’s Bookie falls short of the standards set by elite sportsbooks like Bookmaker, Bovada and BetOnline, so it retains an average rating within our review guide.

The best withdrawal method is probably a regular mail bank draft, as it is free. Alternative payout methods include Bitcoin or a P2P transfer.

Bonuses Codes and Promos at AmericasBookie

User Experience At America’s Bookie

The betting interface at America’s Bookie sportsbook is pretty basic. At first it looks limited, as you will only find the standard spread, total and moneyline options on various games.

However, if you click the plus symbol for “More Bets,” you will see them broken down into halves and quarters, and an option invites you to “CLICK HERE FOR PREMIUM PROPS.” If you click on that option, you will be taken through to a new site, which follows a completely different design. Here you can choose from a wealth of prop bets on football, basketball, hockey, NASCAR and the big soccer leagues.

It is a strange and convoluted navigation process, but it is good to find a number of prop bets on offer at this online betting site.

Mobile Experience at America’s Bookie

There is no mobile app available, so you can simply visit America’s Bookie from your cell phone or tablet’s browser to engage in mobile wagering. Once again, the user experience is pretty stripped back, but the mobile site is optimized and easy to use on a variety of mobile devices.

Betting Options at America’s Bookie

This sportsbook operator targets North American players with a pretty narrow range of sports. It covers basketball, football, baseball, hockey, soccer, tennis, golf, table tennis, handball, rugby union, cricket, snooker and esports (CS:GO and Dota 2). However, it covers all of those sports pretty well, with all the big pro and college games featured.

Depth of Sports Coverage at America’s Bookie

As the name suggests, this online betting site mainly focuses on American sports leagues. However, you can bet also on basketball and hockey in Europe, plus soccer from around the world.

Betting Markets Offered by America’s Bookie

You will be offered a lot more markets when you follow the “PREMIUM PROPS” link and visit the separate microsite within the America’s Bookie ecosystem. This online operator offers a reasonably broad selection of betting markets on big games in popular sports.

Live Betting at America’s Bookie

Players will also find strong live betting microsites within America’s Bookie. They are named Dynamic Live and Dynamic Live 2, and they take in-game bets on a wide array of games.

Wagering Limits at AmericasBookie

The limits vary depending on the sport and market you bet on. It is mainly aimed at casual bettors, with lower limits than rivals such as BetOnline and other online sports betting sites.

The Quality of Odds at America’s Bookie

America’s Bookie offers standard juice -110 lines on sides and totals. We compared the props and futures odds against those on offer at rival sportsbook operators and found that this bookie offers reasonably strong value across the board.

It does not quite compare to the best reduced juice bookie sites, or those online betting sites that operate on ultra-slim margins, such as BetAnySports, but overall you should not be disappointed by the quality of the odds on offer.

America’s Bookie Customer Reviews

America’s Bookie has seen its reputation improve considerably in recent years. Several players at sister site 1Vice reported that they were paid out in full by RDG Corp after being placed on payment plans, which helped to bolster America’s Bookie’s reputation too.

It is now seen as a trustworthy, reliable and reputable online betting site, although it could invest in higher-quality software and broaden its sportsbook offering.

Other Betting Options Offered by America’s Bookie

America’s Bookie com provides 24/7 customer support, seven days per week. You can use the live chat function, call the toll-free number or use the email address above for non-urgent requests.

Other Betting Options Offered by AmericasBookie

America’s Bookie also has a casino, racebook, pools section and a poker room. The range of casino games is limited at America’s Bookie, but some players might like the streamlined portfolio.
