While The Observer reports that Louisiana authorities may have instigated the arrest of Sportingbet\’s Peter Dicks under pressure from local gambling firms, The Times revealed that Louisiana has a total of more than 50 warrants outstanding against executives from internet gambling companies that have clients who live within the state’s boundaries.
It is believed that those targeted by the warrants, which will remain sealed unless an arrest is made, include other Sportingbet directors and board members of companies such as PartyGaming and 888 Holdings.
