Well, hello there my fellow bettors! Super Bowl LVI is finally here and as we bid farewell to another great season of the NFL, we still have one more evening of gambling debauchery so let’s jump right into the NFL odds for the Big Game.
Since this is a special occasion, I’ll also be sharing some of the prop bets I’m playing in BMR’s Forum Contest! If you haven’t joined our awesome community I don’t know what you’re waiting for, so go sign up right now!
Now, let me tell you why I think the Rams will cover the spread!
Los Angeles Rams vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Sunday, February 13, 2022 – 06:30 PM EST at SoFi Stadium
Defensive Edge
By now you're probably sick and tired of listening about the Rams pass rush and the likes of Aaron Donald and Von Miller. On top of that, Jalen Ramsey is back in the secondary.
So, how good has the Rams' defense been? As the great Michael Lombardi said this week, in 3 playoff games, Los Angeles has only allowed 6 conversions out of 32, on third downs. That's 18.7 percent!
That's one of the biggest reasons why the Rams have outscored their opponents 48 to 13 in the first half of their playoffs games.
Look, the Bengals coaching staff knows they can't block the Rams pass rush. They knew that when they played against the Raiders in the Wild Card Round and they knew that two weeks ago against the Chiefs.
This means that Joe Burrow will be looking to get the ball out of the pocket as quickly as he can.

Unfortunately, L.A's defensive coordinator, Raheem Morris, knows this as well and he'll have an answer. Despite playing zone defense, the Rams will probably double down on Ja'Marr Chase throughout most of the game and this means he'll be seeing a lot of Ramsey.
That takes us to the second key to all of this. Like I said before, Morris knows this because it's exactly what the Chiefs did. So what's the difference? Well, this time, the offense might not be able to hang around if they don't get the help they need from the other side of the ball.

You see, the Bengals' defense hasn't really played well but rather they've been opportunistic. Cincy will probably play a seven-man front which in turn will open the doors for the Rams to run the ball a night long and that's exactly what Sean McVay wants.
Give me the Rams for both the first half and the full game. Now, when it comes down to the total, I must admit I'm not fully confident as the line set by the top sportsbooks was pretty sharp but I'll put a sprinkle play on the over as most of the prop bets I like fit that narrative.

Prop Corner
Since it's the Super Bowl we decided to give Jobu the day off and instead use this space for some prop bets. Now, remember this are just for fun and I wouldn't advise over half a unit. Having said that, we like to win and we are looking at the best value odds.
The Rams running attack should have a feast if the game script I've visualized happens to take place. That's why I'm taking both Cam Akers and Sony Michel to score at any time.

Just for fun, the peeps at BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review) have a sweet prop parlay with Michel to have 71 or more rushing yards plus a trip to the endzone with odds of +1000. Another, more realistic one is Akers to score and Rams to win at +125. I also like Akers to be the overall leading rusher in the game.

Fun Plays
Since we also like to have fun, there are three dumb prop bets I'll be putting five dollars on.
A lot has been talked about how long will Mickey Guyton take to sing the US National Anthem.
Well, I was thinking over it, as she is a country singer but video of her lasting about 1:23 back in 2011 and a +145 line on the under 1 minute and 38 seconds at GTbets (visit our GTbets Review) is a no brainer for me.

Another fun prop bet is the color of the liquid that will be poured on the winning coach. I'm going with blue for obvious reasons.
Last but not least, my colleague Swinging Johnson found a sweet bet on TV commercials and I'll be taking FTX to feature a commercial before Crypto.com.

PD: If you just can't wait and the anthem play wasn't enough...something tells me heads for the coin toss. Hope you enjoy the game!
