Manon Fiorot vs. Rose Namajunas Betting Preview
- UFC Paris Women’s Flyweight Bout
Manon Fiorot
Flying the flag for French women’s MMA in the co-main event this weekend is Manon Fiorot (10-1-0), a former karate, muay thai, and kickboxing prodigy that burst onto the pro-MMA scene in 2018 and has looked impressive with an almost unblemished record.
Fiorot is 5-0 as a UFC competitor and is one significant victory away from staking her claim at flyweight gold. There’s no better opportunity to position herself as a title contender than by facing a former strawweight queen, “Thug Rose,” and handing her a rough welcome to the 125-pound weight class on home soil.
Rose Namajunas
Following one of the UFC’s most highly criticized performances in a title-losing bout to Carla Esparza, Rose Namajunas (11-5-0 pro-MMA) returns to the octagon after a 10-month layoff.
Sportsbooks and UFC handicappers alike are already doubting the potential success of Namajunas moving forward, but are they too quick to underestimate a well-experienced veteran who’s thrived as an underdog her entire career?
UFC Paris Fiorot vs. Namajunas: Breakdown
There are countless variables heading into this weekend’s co-main event. Can Namajunas match the strength and power at 125 lbs? Is she still passionate about professional competition?
Questions are also unanswered on Fiorot’s behalf, as she’s yet to face a caliber of opponent with Rose’s experience and in-cage success. For this reason, ignoring the moneyline for a shot on this fight going all three rounds feels like a safer betting position to be in. Not only has Fiorot gone the distance in three consecutive UFC bouts, but she’s never been stopped inside the distance.
Furthermore, Rose has been a five-round fighter and has gone the distance on multiple occasions, including in 4 of her last 6 UFC bouts. And this Saturday in Paris will be her first three-round bout since 2020.
Fight Goes the Distance/Yes: Reasoning
The UFC odds favor Fiorot to get the job done. Still, as I previously stated, we’re looking at too many unanswered questions from both parties to find confidence in either side.
Toughness and durability can be accredited to Namajunas’ and Fiorot’s skillset; neither fighter has been stopped via strikes, and we can expect a patient, technical bout with minimal defensive failures to play out.

Ciryl Gane vs. Serghei Spivac Betting Preview
- UFC Paris Heavyweight Main Event Bout
Ciryl Gane
Former interim heavyweight champ Ciryl Gane (11-2-0) has lost 2 of his last 3 UFC bouts, but we shouldn’t pay attention to the undeserving hatred his name is attached to.
Sure, there was much hype around the French MMA star, but losing to arguably the two best heavyweight martial artists on the planet right now, Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou, holds no shame whatsoever.
Serghei Spivac
In my opinion, Serghei Spivac (16-3-0) is the perfect bounce-back opponent for Gane. He’s an up-and-coming prospect within the top 15 rankings but has yet to win over one of the division’s top-tier contenders.
UFC Paris Gane vs. Spivac: Breakdown
Like our co-main event prop bet prediction, I’ve noticed interesting value outside the moneyline odds. As Gane’s moneyline continues trending away from value, why not bank on this fight ending before the end of round three?
Spivac has finished 72% of his successful UFC bouts and lost 67% inside the distance, and Gane has gone the distance in just 4 of his 13 pro-MMA bouts to date. With a talented striker with ground-finishing ability versus a talented grappler with fight-ending power going to war for 25 minutes, it’s a no-brainer.
The odds favor Gane, and I completely agree. The Frenchman holds too much technical offense knowledge for Spivac to be the deserving favorite, but the under 2.5 rounds is an intriguing prop at a reasonable price of -162.
