Why Does Brian Harman Fit TPC Sawgrass Perfectly?

Last year, after many seasons grinding on the PGA Tour, Brian Harman put in a career-best effort to win the Open Championship by six shots at Royal Liverpool.

Uniquely, Harman was perfectly suited by the coastal test on the West side of England at a course that historically has never been overpowered by the longer hitters in the sport. That remit has always fitted TPC Sawgrass perfectly, and unsurprisingly, Harman has a very strong record in the event with three Top 10 finishes in the last decade.

It is fair to state that Harman has never really settled back into his best rhythm on the PGA Tour since his major championship success. So, last week’s solid effort at Bay Hill was hugely eye-catching in the context that it was at a track where he has usually struggled.

We can expect the thirty-seven-year-old former Georgia Bulldog to improve for that effort, and if he does so, with his confidence at the highest level boosted from last summer still, Brian Harman could be this week’s winner of the Players Championship.

Looking around, the price to take on Brian Harman is (+6000).

Why Tom Hoge Loves TPC Sawgrass?

This week’s course, TPC Sawgrass, the Stadium Course, is one many of the world’s top golfing professionals struggle with and therefore a good week to look for in-form course specialists.

Step forward Tom Hoge, who has been in good solid form for a few weeks now and absolutely loves TPC Sawgrass. His third place last year was no surprise given he had previously not finished worse than 33rd in his last three visits.

The thirty-four-year-old from North Carolina has only one PGA Tour win to his name, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-am from 2022. Still, he is one of the best Bermuda grass green putters allied with a solid tee-to-green game.

Take Tom Hoge for modest stakes as a long-shot winner of the 2024 Players Championship this week at the price of (+8000).

YU Cannot Help but Be Impressed by Kevin

We believe you cannot help but be impressed by Kevin Yu this season and last.

At just twenty-five years old, Yu looks like one of the game’s premier ball strikers’ tee-to-green, which accounts for three Top 10 finishes already in 2024.

The Taiwanese-born golfer now living in Scottsdale, Arizona, is making his event debut this week. However, don’t be fooled that it will be his course debut, having won the Junior Players Championship here in 2015.

It would be a huge ask to win his first PGA Tour title at the Players Championship. Still, he looks to have a perfect profile, and rather importantly, he just missed out on playing last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational, which could turn out to be a blessing in disguise given how difficult Bay Hill played.

The Junior Players Championship has only been played since 2007 but Kevin Yu could become the first winner of both the boys and men’s titles this year.

Take the price of (+20000) about Kevin Yu this week at the 2024 Players Championship.
