Florida’s Last Chance to Even Up Series on Home Ice
The last thing the Florida Panthers will want is to lose this game. That would mean being down 3-1 in the series and a must-win Game Five on the road if they wish to remain in the playoffs. Then, a win on home ice would only even things up at 3-3 and then they would have to go to Madison Square Garden for the final decider Game Seven.
All of this can be avoided with a win on home ice tonight to even up the series at 2-2.
Florida has been unlucky at home in recent games, losing three of their previous four. However, we believe they can bounce back tonight in front of their own fans. Losing back-to-back games in overtime has got to give them a boost to do well tonight and win the game.
The Pick
If the Panthers win, at the very least we will get a push here, as we are looking to bet them on the alternative PK line at -1.0 for +125 NHL betting odds. It’s not worth the -1.5 PK line odds at +150 when we can get a push for only 25 cents less.
We find value in this alternative PK line and would happily bet it down to as low as +110. Just remember we need the Panthers to win by 2+ goals to get our +125 winner. If they only win by one goal, we get our stake back (push).
