Top NHL Pick: Noah Dobson Over 0.5 Assists (+100) at BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review)

We have a stacked NHL card tonight. Based on our NHL odds, plenty of games have come up with some strong value plays for you to cash at the top-rated online sportsbooks.
The Boston Bruins’ top goalscorer, David Pastrnak, looks to get on the scoreboard in back-to-back games for the first time in almost 3 months.
Elsewhere, we are targeting the NY Islanders defenceman, Noah Dobson, to continue his hot streak against the Blues and we are betting on a tie game in Los Angeles.

Pastrnak to Score in Back-to-Back Games
It was the 2nd of January when David Pastrnak last scored in back-to-back games but we believe he can do so tonight on the road against a weak Calgary Flames team who have allowed 3.10 goals per game thus far this season.
Calgary has allowed 3/5/6/0/5 goals in their previous five home games. The one shutout they managed doesn’t really count, as it came against the worst team in the NHL (Chicago Blackhawks).
Pastrnak has scored 35 goals so far this season, which is ranked as the 4th best overall. He is just one goal away from 3rd, four away from 2nd and it’s highly unlikely he will catch the leader Auston Matthews, who has scored 15 more goals than Pastrnak this season.
The Pick
We don’t trust this Flames defense right now. The fact they allowed six goals on home ice against the San Jose Sharks says enough.
Pastrnak is the Bruins’s go-to guy when it comes to scoring, as he has 10 more than the next best, Brad Marchand, and 17 more than their 3rd highest scorer, Charlie Coyle.
Pastrnak has only failed to score against 6 teams that he has faced already this season, with the Flames being one of them. Nobody gets that lucky twice when facing Pastrnak and we really like his odds at plus money to get on the scoreboard in this road matchup.
The Bruins should win this one and we expect Pastrnak to be one of their goalscorers.
NHL Pick: David Pastrnak Anytime Goalscorer (+120) at BetOnline

New York Islanders vs. St. Louis Blues
Thursday, February 22, 2024 – 08:00 PM ET at Enterprise Center
Dobson Assist King
Noah Dobson might be ranked as the 5th highest assister thus far this season. However, he is the leading assister if we want to talk about a player who almost exclusively picks up assists and not goals.
Whilst 4 players have more assists than him so far this season, two of them have hit 30+ goals. Connor McDavid has had 21 goals and his closest rival (also a defenceman), Quinn Hughes, has had 12 goals and 57 assists. For the record, Noah Dobson has had 7 goals and 51 assists. Only two of those seven goals have come in 2024, whilst 35 of his 51 assists have come in 2024.
The Pick
Although the New York Islanders are far from a good team right now, neither is the St. Louis Blues. Both teams have scored 60 points so far this season. We believe this game could see some goals.
We like Noah Dobson’s chances of getting an assist in this matchup at plus money.
Don’t be surprised if he ends up with multiple assists, as the Blues are yet to face Dobson this season. Dobson has had 13 games with multiple assists thus far.
Although it’s been almost 14 months since these two teams last met, Dobson has enjoyed success against the Blues in the past, ending the previous two games with two points.
NHL Pick: Noah Dobson Over 0.5 Assists (+100) at BetOnline

Nashville Predators vs. Los Angeles Kings
Thursday, February 22, 2024 – 10:30 PM ET at Crypto.com Arena
Teams to Cancel Each Other Out
Both the Los Angeles Kings and Nashville Predators have 66 and 60 points thus far this season.
With the Predators on 60 points, they also have played two fewer games than the Kings. So a win here would be ideal if they wish to jump right into a playoff spot in the Western Conference (with their two games in hand).
With that said, we believe the Kings and Predators could cancel each other out in regulation. We could be looking at overtime.
Despite the Kings having gone 3-10 after regulation so far this season, they have seen the 3rd joint most amount of games end in a tie this season, with the Predators hitting the average of 9 overtimes.
The Pick
Both these teams have seen overtime occur in 1 of their previous 5 games in the NHL. Two of their previous five matchups’ went to overtime.
We like the +300 betting odds available on overtime in this matchup.
The Kings are playing strong hockey right now but can be known to have an off-night. Meanwhile, the Predators are the opposite. They are just 3-7 in their previous 10 but have been known to step it up, especially when it matters most.
Right now, this is a big game if they wish to keep their playoff chances alive.
NHL Pick: Regulation to End in a Tie (+300) at BetOnline
