It’s Monday, and there’s an exciting lineup of NHL games on the horizon. We’ve carefully assessed the betting odds at the top sportsbooks to bring you our best picks and props for tonight’s action.

Seattle won’t be caught snoozing in Tampa, Artemi Panarin’s shot line looks like a solid bet and our final pick is a combo involving the rookie and potential future all-star Connor Bedard, at odds of +180 and +1200.

Seattle Kraken vs. Tampa Bay Lightning

Monday, October 30, 2023 – 07:00 PM EDT at Amalie Arena

Seattle Worth Underdog Odds

Although the Seattle Kraken have not been the team we are used to seeing, we still believe their underdog odds to win at +140 to be worth a shot in tonight’s road game.

It’s fair to point out that Seattle is 2-5-2 and the Lightning are 4-2-2, but in reality, there are only four points separating the two teams, and Seattle is always worthy and backable as underdogs.

We have to respect the fact Tampa Bay are 2-0 in their last two games scoring 9 times and allowing zero, but who were their opponents? The San Jose Sharks and a far below par Carolina Hurricanes.

The Pick

Look at Seattle’s previous five games, they faced two tough teams in NY Rangers and Detroit Red Wings, as well as two games against Carolina (winning one and losing one, which is a fair result) and a game against Florida.

The Kraken have never beaten Tampa on home ice, let’s hope tonight is their first.

New York Rangers vs. Winnipeg Jets

Monday, October 30, 2023 – 07:30 PM EDT at Canada Life Centre

Artemi Panarin (New York Rangers)

New York Winger Artemi Panarin’s new bald look must be doing wonders for his confidence because he has started the season one fire having racked up a joint 5th league-best 12 points thus far this season with 4 goals and 8 assists.

He has also had a good time shooting with an average of 3.9 shots per game (the 9th best in the NHL).

Panarin is the Rangers’ leading shooter right now having had 6 more shots than the second-best Mika Zibanejad, the Russian is on fire right now and probably looking like he is about to hit the peak of his career at 32 if these numbers keep up.

The Pick

Let’s target Panarin’s shot total tonight, let’s be honest for a guy who averages almost 4 shots per game this season, laying -125 isn’t a bad prospect. He has gone over this total in 7 of his opening 8 games this season.

NHL Pick: Artemi Panarin Over 2.5 Shots (-125) at Heritage Sports (visit our Heritage Sports Review)

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Arizona Coyotes

Monday, October 30, 2023 – 10:00 PM EDT at Mullett Arena

Connor Bedard (Chicago Blackhawks)

The number one draft pick and highly talked about Connor Bedard has started his young career in positive fashion having scored 3 goals and 2 assists in his opening 8 NHL games. This is a very respectable number when we envision the team he is with.

The Blackhawks have one of the worst rosters in the league so they are looking to him to lead the way although he is only 18 years old, they have brought in some veterans to help.

Thus far Bedard’s three goals are enough to give him joint top goalscorer status along with teammate Tyler Johnson.

Having played a lot of strong teams in his opening eight games (Vegas twice, Boston twice, Colorado, Toronto) Bedard finally gets a chance to open up and play some hockey in a very winnable game for either team here as there’s not much to separate the two.

The Pick

Bedard will know this is his best chance to shine this season so far and we love his odds to score anytime at +180, this is very beatable down to around +140 and why not throw in Bedard to score twice at +1200, he is yet to score two goals in an NHL game and tonight could be his best chance to do so.

He has just come off a goalscoring night and a win against the Vegas Golden Knights, full of confidence let’s see if Bedard can get some goals tonight.
