Florida Panthers Value to Win in Sin City
The Las Vegas Golden Knights might be the reigning Stanley Cup champions, but Florida are currently one of the hottest teams in the NHL, having won their previous five games.
Meanwhile, Las Vegas are on a cold streak in recent games with a 1-6 record across their previous seven matchups in the NHL.
It doesn’t help Las Vegas’s cause that they are missing some key players from their starting lineup, including both their number 1 and number 2 goaltenders.
The Pick
With Las Vegas likely to start their 3rd string goaltender, who allows 3.98 goals per game, it’s hard to oppose the red-hot Florida, who are not only on their winning streak but have only allowed 2/2/3/1/1 goals against in each of their previous five games.
For us, this matchup should slightly favour Florida. Even though they are the road team, they have had a winning record on the road this season sitting at 11-7-2.
This game is at the very least a 50/50 matchup. Considering Florida are marked as the underdogs, we will take their side in this contest.

Take The Plus Money on the Jets PK Line
We have said it before and said it again and yes, we are going to say it again: oppose San Jose whenever possible this season on the -1.5 PK line when the odds are plus money. That is currently what we are getting, as the Winnipeg Jets are +100 to cover the spread on the road in this matchup.
Winnipeg have a 23-9-8 overall record and sit 3rd in the Western Conference. A win tonight could see them go top of the conference. The Jets have also won 7 of their previous 9 games and have failed to lose in regulation during that nine-game stretch.
San Jose, on the other hand, have the worst record in the NHL and the 3rd worst ATS record in the league (13-25). On the other hand, Winnipeg have the 3rd best ATS record (24-12).
The Pick
This is as easy as pie. Take the Jets to cover the -1.5 spread here at +100. The Jets are on the cusp of taking control of the division and will want to avenge their 1-4 run at the SAP Center having now lost their previous four games on the road to San Jose.
We were surprised to be getting plus money here and would bet this down to as low as -115 on the Jets to cover the -1.5 spread. If you’re feeling bold, we also like the -2.5 line at +170.
