How Short is Megill’s Leash on Monday?
A shoulder boo-boo shelved Megill after his first and only start of the season back on Opening Weekend. He was pulled after just 62 pitches during a rehab start last week and is unlikely to go more than 70-75 tosses Monday night.
If the pattern holds, Cleveland is due a loss when Lively takes the hill after the club split his first 6 starts. The former UCF star has received all of 5 runs of support in the 3 losing assignments and is making his first start against the Mets since April 2018.
