We’ve got multiple exciting college football bets on the slate for Week 6. Here are three NCAAF computer predictions from our AI model that you should consider for Saturday’s slate. Which ones are you tailing?

Boston College Eagles vs. Army Black Knights

Saturday, October 07, 2023 – 12:00 PM EDT at Michie Stadium

Our AI Model believes the Army Black Knights will earn a 35-16 win over Boston College, at home, on Saturday. Army is 2-2 on the season but has had more time to prepare due to a bye week last weekend.

Uphill Battle Ahead

The Boston College Eagles need to be more consistent this season. They’ll dominate in half and struggle in the other. That just won’t fly against Army on the road.

The Army Black Knights have earned 379 yards per game, including 209.5 yards on the ground. The Army has thrown the ball a lot more than a typical Army team. That has allowed for the offense to expand and play better. Meanwhile, the Army defense has allowed only 320 yards per game, keeping teams under 200 yards passing.

The Black Knights have a terrific secondary and are solid against the run. They’ll force Boston College quarterback Thomas Castellanos into making some mistakes. It happens every game. Castellanos already has four interceptions to begin the season.

The Pick

I’ll trust the Army defense and back them -4. The AI Model is onto something.

LSU Tigers vs. Missouri Tigers

Saturday, October 07, 2023 – 12:00 PM EDT at Memorial Stadium

Our AI Model believes LSU and Missouri will combine for 70 points. There’s value on the Over, with the top offshore sportsbooks holding a total of just 63.

Tackling & Coverage Woes Threaten the Roar!

The LSU Tigers have one of the best offenses in the nation. However, it’s been overshadowed by a poor defense. The Tigers have added over 550 yards of offense per game, but they’ve also allowed nearly 430 yards on the defensive end this season.

The run defense isn’t bad. The pass rush has also been successful, but tackling and coverage have hurt LSU’s chances at doing much of anything this year. That plays into the Over.

Missouri has also earned 453.4 yards per game on offense. They’ve added 304.4 yards in the air. Brady Cook has been clever with the football, throwing for 11 touchdowns and no interceptions to begin the season. He’s also got a QBR of 78.3.

He’s not Jayden Daniels, who has thrown for 1710 yards and 16 touchdowns, but Cook is dealing and should have no problems against the LSU young secondary.

The Pick

Take the Over 63 in this SEC bout at the NCAAF odds.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights vs. Wisconsin Badgers

Saturday, October 07, 2023 – 12:00 PM EDT at Camp Randall Stadium

The AI Model suggests Rutgers will lose to Wisconsin, 26-20, on the road. However, the spread is sitting at 12.5. There’s certainly some value on Rutgers to cover and potentially win against the Badgers on Saturday.

Scarlet Knights Surging!

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are 4-1 to begin the season. The only loss came against No. 2 Michigan a couple of weeks ago. Rutgers has already added wins against Northwestern, Temple, and Virginia Tech. Those wins are quality wins against other teams in big conferences.

They’ve only added 346.6 yards of offense per game. However, the defense has held opponents to just 267.8 yards per game and that’s with a game against Michigan earlier this year. The offense has added over 190 yards rushing, thanks to Kyle Monangai. He’s added six touchdowns on 88 carries for 471 yards.

Gavin Wimsatt has thrown for 733 yards with five touchdowns and just one interception, but he’s also lethal with the ball in his hands, rushing the football.

If the Scarlet Knights don’t turn the ball over, they’ll be in this game until the end.

Can They Pull Off an Upset?

On the other hand, Wisconsin’s offense has earned 427.5 yards per game, including 201.8 yards on the ground. Braelon Allen has rushed 52 times for 371 yards and six touchdowns. However, Tanner Mordecai, the transfer quarterback, has thrown two touchdowns and three interceptions in four games.

That’s the opposite of Wimsatt. He’s not being careful with the ball. The Rutgers defense has allowed under 170 yards in the air and has held teams to under 100 yards on the ground.

The Scarlet Knights have been one of the best tackling teams in the country and continue to play exceptionally well in coverage. Those attributes could result in a major upset for Rutgers.

The Pick

We’ll play it safe. Back Rutgers with the points. The AI Model knows.
