The NBA has two Game 3s this Friday evening as a doubleheader on ESPN. We are going to build a four-leg NBA parlay from these games using player prop picks at Bovada, a top-rated sportsbook.

Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers

Friday, May 06, 2022 – 07:00 PM EDT at Wells Fargo Center

Tyrese Maxey Prop Analysis

The 76ers are expected to still be without Joel Embiid as they trail Miami 2-0 going into Game 3 at home.

Tyrese Maxey has had to step up, and while he scored 34 points in Game 2, it was too little too late as the 76ers lost both games in Miami by at least 14 points.

Maxey was third in the NBA this regular season in 3P% (.427), but he has failed to make multiple threes in five of his last six playoff games. He is 2-of-10 from three against Miami in this series.

Hopefully, the home court will get Maxey back on the right shooting path. He made eight threes at home in the first two playoff games against Toronto.

He made multiple threes in 40 games this season, so it is something he does more than half the time when he plays.

Let’s start our parlay by watering down Maxey’s line for threes made (2.5) and bet on him to make at least two.

NBA Pick: Tyrese Maxey Over 1.5 Three-Point Field Goals Made (-264) with Bovada

Jimmy Butler Prop Analysis

More sportsbooks, including Bovada, are allowing bettors to wager on player steals as defense is part of the game too.

This could be a great opportunity for Jimmy Butler, who has come away with at least two steals in all six playoff games this season.

Butler had multiple steals in 28 of his 57 regular-season games this year, so when combining the playoffs, this is something he does more than half the time.

Butler has had two steals in each of the first two games of this series. Philadelphia’s offense has struggled without scoring champion Joel Embiid.

But the 76ers only had eight turnovers in Game 2, and Butler still came away with two steals.

Look for him to grab at least two more in this game as the 76ers will likely have double-digit turnovers.

NBA Pick: Jimmy Butler to Have 2+ Steals (-143) with Bovada

Phoenix Suns vs. Dallas Mavericks

Friday, May 06, 2022 – 09:30 PM EDT at American Airlines Center

Dorian Finney-Smith Prop Analysis

Despite Luka Doncic scoring 80 points in the two games in Phoenix, the Mavericks have struggled as a team and are facing a 2-0 hole going back to Dallas for Game 3.

The supporting cast is going to have to do more to help Doncic out. Dorian Finney-Smith had his worst game of the playoffs in Game 2.

He battled with foul trouble and only played 20 minutes. He tied his season lows with two points and two field-goal attempts in a game he just never got comfortable in because of fouls.

It was also the first time in eight playoff games this year that Finney-Smith did not hit at least two threes.

It was the only game all season where Finney-Smith did not attempt a three. Look for him to come out aggressive and sink a couple of threes at home where he shoots 40.6% this season.

NBA Pick: Dorian Finney-Smith Over 1.5 Three-Point Field Goals Made (-244) with Bovada

Chris Paul Prop Analysis

Chris Paul led the NBA in assists per game (10.8) this season at 36 years old.

But he has not cracked nine assists in any of the last three games as the Suns are getting help from other sources such as Devin Booker and Mikal Bridges.

Paul is still the best distributor the Suns have, and the offense was hot against Dallas’ defense to start this series.

While the Suns won’t shoot a ridiculous 64.5% again as they did in Game 2, they are going to have success against the Mavericks on offense.

In the regular season, Paul had at least 11 assists in all three matchups with Dallas. He has yet to lose to the Mavericks as a member of the Suns (8-0).

Paul had at least nine assists in 46 of his 65 (70.8%) regular-season games this year. You have to go back to Christmas week to find the last time Paul had four straight games with single-digit assists.

We are going to bet his alternate line down and expect Paul to have at least nine assists in Game 3 as the final leg of our parlay.

NBA Pick: Chris Paul to Have 9+ Assists (-141) with Bovada
