There is precedent for backup QB success in the playoff. Ohio State won the first ever CFP with a third stringer

Welp my what if scenario came true and Bama wins. I think they're in because this is a momumental win. Georgia might get left out but they might only fall to fourth which is going to screw a couple of teams so that will be interesting. Texas and FSU might be on the outside looking in if Georgia gets in but that is the million dollar question because Texas looks too good to be left out and Georgia lost to the 8th ranked team.

What if Florida state wins

Texas has the head to head against Alabama so they would be in and I personally think FSU should get in over Alabama but I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t because they’re undefeated. Alabama definitely has better wins but I don’t think FSU should be punished for missing their QB.
