So I'm reading from posters that people believe the following teams are locks so far:

Washington
Texas

But FSU might have to lose

I think if FSU wins they will get screwed because Texas looked mighty impressive today and FSU's win won't look as impressive because Louisville isn't that great. Plus Texas already owns a win over Alabama and if Bama beats Georgia that only helps Texas's case. Even if Bama loses to Georgia Texas's win was impressive over Bama and that is a more quality win than anything on FSU's resume imo.

There is precedent for backup QB success in the playoff. Ohio State won the first ever CFP with a third stringer
