La Liga soccer returns this week and it’s been a difficult card to break down, there is some very good value to be found in this round, but also some very hard games to predict.
We have looked high and low for the value ahead of this round so let’s check out our La Liga odds and selections.
Levante vs. Villarreal

Our first selection on the card is the early Saturday morning fixture between Levante and Villarreal. It’s the only game we have outright chosen a winner in this article and we are siding with the visitors here at -105 but do check around because we wouldn’t be surprised to see +100 or +105 on the “Yellow Submarine” with some of the top rated sportsbooks.
Despite Villarreal not having an amazing away record, with just the 11th best in the league (most likely why we are almost getting plus money on them) they do face the worst home team in the league and to add to Levante’s woes they are also bottom of the league table.

Levante are all but doomed for relegation, with just 9 games remaining they are 8 points shy of safety, and no team has avoided the drop with less than 35 points in La Liga’s history. Going off history they will need at least 16 points from a possible 27, this seems very unlikely given their overall poor performances this season as seen them pick up just 19 points to date.
This is kind of a must win game for the visitors if they wish to push themselves closer to Real Betis in 5th, who have a five point advantage at the time of writing.

Atletico Madrid vs. Alaves

Absolutely incredible value here, and yes many of you will look at the road team here and most likely think they won’t score against Atletico, but at +130 for both to score we feel there is way too much value, making that our soccer pick.
Atletico Madrid have not been the formidable defense of recent years this season and in recent games have seen both teams scoring on home soil in 6 of the previous 10. Alaves have seen both teams scoring in 5 of their last 10 road games.
Alaves are in a fight for relegation and they will no doubt see this as a free hit at an unlikely win rather than playing out for a tie game. They cannot afford to draw if their rivals all win. Even more so Atletico Madrid are without at least 4 players, potentially 6. All-important players to the team. Atletico Madrid will most likely edge this one out but we see Alaves finding the back of the net.

Valencia vs. Cadiz
Sunday, April , 2022 - 12:30 PM EDT at Estadio de Mestalla
This is one of our favorite games this weekend, we expect this one to be a good old La Liga slog, with plenty of tackles and cards handed out. Valencia have picked up an average of 3.5 per game on home soil, which is the highest in the league at home.
Cadiz themselves are no saints, especially on the road where they have picked up 2.7 cards per game, as well as allowing 2.8 cards against. Both teams have also combined for seven red cards this season.
The last time these two teams met was almost 2 months ago in the cup, where there were 7 yellows and 1 red card handed out. Cadiz are in a relegation fight and are coming into this game off the back of a 1-0 win over Villarreal. Valencia on the other hand are currently having their best home form of the season having won 4 of their previous 5 games.
