As we lead up to Super Bowl LVI, we often find ourselves eager to place a bet on this much anticipated yearly event, but we often get stuck on our NFL Pick and don’t know where to begin. Instead of betting on sides, let’s check out some Super Bowl LVI Prop Bets that are available to you right now.
Los Angeles Rams vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Anthem Specials - National Anthem
One popular Prop Bet we see every year is in regards to our National Anthem. If you go to BetOnline, you will find the National Anthem Prop Bets under Anthem Specials. There is a wide array of Prop Bets to choose from; we have: Any Scoring Driver Shorter Time than Anthem Length, Color of Outfit during Anthem, Number of planes during flyover, and many more.
However, the one National Anthem Prop Bet that catches my eye is: To be shown 1st during the National Anthem. The NFL Odds are: Joe Burrow -130 and Matt Stafford -110. I chose this Super Bowl Prop because, in general, Joe Burrow has been getting a lot of publicity; a lot more than Matt Stafford has. Burrow is a very talented quarterback who is the face of the younger, rising generations. The fact that he is going to the Super Bowl at 25 years old and in his second year in the NFL turns a lot of heads. I think Joe Burrow will be shown 1st before Matt Stafford during the National Anthem.
NFL Pick: To be shown 1st during the National Anthem: Joe Burrow -130 at BetOnline (Visit Our BetOnline Review)
Added Game Props - Coin Toss
Before an NFL game commences, we watch the players and officials gather center field for the coin toss. As a coin toss is a 50/50 proposition, there are still a few ways to bet on this - you will find the Coin Toss Prop Bets under the Added Game Props via BetOnline.
The first Coin Toss Prop is simply choosing “if the coin will land on Heads or Tails”. Via BetOnline, the NFL Odds are Heads -101 and Tails -101. Before I choose a side, I want to check out past results of the Super Bowl Coin Toss just to have an idea of what I’m getting myself into. In the past, the coin has landed 26 times on heads and 29 times on tails. This puts some emphasis on my concept: Tails never Fails. Although in the last 4 Super Bowls, the coin has landed on Tails once, I will still put my chances with Tails.
NFL Pick: Coin Toss: Tails -101 at BetOnline (Visit Our BetOnline Review)
Another Coin Toss Prop you can find is “SB LVI - Coin Toss Winner Win Game”. Again at Betonline, you can find NFL Odds stating: No -105 and Yes -105. I think this is a very interesting one, especially when we check out the history of this NFL Prop Bet. The winner of the Super Bowl coin toss has lost the game a whopping 31 times, while the loser of the coin toss has won the last seven Super Bowls. Is this a trend that will continue, or should we expect that trend to break at Super Bowl LVI? I would like to take a stab at continuing that trend. During the Conference Championships, the Bengals lost the coin toss against the Chiefs yet still won 27-24 in OT. For me, I will say No.
NFL Pick: Coin Toss Winner Win Game: No -105 at BetOnline (Visit Our BetOnline Review)
The final Super Bowl LVI Coin Toss Prop you can find at BetOnline is “Will Coin Toss caller be correct”. The NFL Odds are: No -105 and Yes -105. Diving back into our past Super Bowls, we will see that 25 teams have called the coin toss correctly. I would like to say the coin toss caller will be correct, but they won’t win the game.
NFL Pick: Will Coin Toss Caller Be Correct: Yes -105 at BetOnline (Visit our BetOnline Review)
Color of Liquid Poured on Winning Coach
Another fun yearly Super Bowl Prop is the color of liquid poured onto the winning Coach. Every year, everyone huddles up and debates on the possibility of a certain color being pourn, and yes this is a serious Prop Bet.
Gatorade pouring on the winning head coach became a tradition starting in 1984 by the New York Giants - well, the first gatorade ever poured on the head coach was actually out of frustration towards the coach after a victory. But it soon then became a fun tradition after every victory in the 1986-87 season. During that season, they won Super Bowl XXI and the color Orange was poured onto Coach Bill Parcells.
From then until now, orange gatorade has been dumped on the head coach 6 times. After orange, the color yellow has been dumped 3 times, then blue dumped 3 times, and finally purple dumped 2 times. But we also can not forget our clear liquids; the color clear has been dumped 8 times on a head coach after a Super Bowl win.
Let’s check out the last five Super Bowls: we saw the New England Patriots pour no liquid on Bill Belichik at Super Bowl LI; the Philadelphia Eagles poured yellow gatorade on Doug Pederson at Super Bowl LII; the Patriots poured blue gatorade on Bill Belichick at Super Bowl LIII; the Kansas City Chiefs poured orange gatorade at Super Bowl LIV; and finally, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers poured blue gatorade on Bruce Arians at Super Bowl LV.

What I really want to look out for, though, are beverage trends within the Rams and the Bengals. If you do your hunting around the web, you could find photos of certain players drinking certain drinks. For example, on the Rams’ side, most of their players have been seen drinking a clear liquid over the past two seasons.
For the Bengals, in 2019, Zac Taylor had a gatorade bath - and guess what color it was? Yep, clear! On top of that, during this season, there have been moments of Joe Burrow being seen drinking a clear liquid as well. So although we have not seen the color clear poured on a coach since Super Bowl XLII, I still think there’s a good chance we see a clear liquid poured this time around.
The NFL Odds for this Prop Bet follows (via BetOnline):
- Clear +200
- Yellow/Green/Lime +300
- Orange +325
- Blue +400
- None +950
- Red/Pink +1200
- Purple +1400
NFL Pick: Clear +200 via BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review)
