Well my Kentucky Wildcats may have gone down but at least I keep winning in the NBA. The Rockets take care of the Bulls and cover another spread at home. We'll see what tomorrow brings and if I can keep this nice little run going.

Thanks Tanko. I told you that I usually turn it around in the new year. This year it took until March for me finally turn things around but it happened and I'm glad it did. Hopefully I can keep it up headed into the playoffs.

First up tonight I like Jimmy Butler to score more than 21.5 points tonight against the Pelicans. These two met last month and in that game Miami won but there was also some bad blood with a fight happening in that one. I didn't see what happened but I do know that Jimmy Butler said in the post game presser that they were going to beat this team again when they meet because they're better. One thing about Jimmy Butler is when he's motivated there's almost no one better at coming up big in these big games. So I like him to really put on a show tonight at home and go over 21.5 points against New Orleans in what should be a pretty competitive game.

Next up I took the Lakers at home to cover 7 against the Sixers. The Lakers are well rested and need this one as they are fighting for playoff position. I continue to fade the Sixers who just aren't the same without Joel Embiid and tonight I think the Lakers will blow them out because they have the matchup advantage inside with no Embiid.

Well not my night as my streak comes to an end with Jimmy Butler only scoring 17 in a Miami blowout loss to New Orleans and the Lakers game lands right on the number. I got lucky that the Laker game wasn't a loss because Tyrese Maxey stole the ball went to the corner for a 3 and shot it off one foot hitting nothing but the bottom of the net. Thank God the ball was still in his hands with the clock at 0.0 after they reviewed it. I've had bad beats plenty of times as has everyone else who gambles but that would have been one of the worst ones I can remember because the shot meant nothing to the outcome but it meant everything to the spread lol. Anyway I'll try to bounce back tomorrow with a winner or two.

Just one play for me on today's card and it's on the Magic to cover the short number at home against the Kings. The Magic have been very good at home and it's mainly because they play really good defense especially at home. The Kings have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the league and have been very tough for me to bet on or against because they are so up and down but I'm going to do it here since the Magic are such a good team at home where they have covered spreads to the tune of a 24-9 record ATS.

0-1 night for me tonight as Orlando loses a close game at home against the Kings. I probably won't have a play tomorrow as I have to work and this time I won't be home before the night games start so I will take a day off from betting NBA in all likelihood.

Back at it tonight with two plays in the NBA. First up I like the Celtics to score at least 62 points in the first half against the Hawks. I lean to the Celtics covering the 6.5 or 7 point spread in the first half but I decided to take their first half team total instead because I think the Hawks might hang around here for a half. Still though the Celtics cover first halves to the tune of a 52-18 record ATS so I understand if you decided to take them in the first half here. I just expect a lot of points because the Hawks will look to run and there will be a lot of 3 point opportunities for the Celtics who shoot a bunch of them so I'm taking o61.5 points for them tonight in the first half.

My next play is on Jalen Green of the Houston Rockets to score over 26.5 points tonight. This one is heavily juiced at the sportsbooks because Green has averaged 34 points a game in his last five games and has the ultra green light to shoot from Coach Udoka. Portland doesn't play much D so I anticipate the Rockets putting up a huge score and Jalen Green being a big part of that which is why I'm comfortable laying all that juice and taking his over 26.5 points tonight.

Yep nice 2-0 night and good thing I didn't bet Boston to cover doubles full game on the road that would've been a nightmare. Seems they're bored at this point but they still come out like gangbusters in the first half and continue to print money if you only take them first half either with their team total like I did tonight or on the spread which they easily covered again. As for Jalen Green I thought I was in trouble after he got off to a slow start but he keeps shooting and they played him 40 minutes so he got there for me. Back at it tomorrow on a short 4 game card so we'll see if I can keep it going.

Dallas Mavericks ML -105 1.05u to win 1u

Two plays for again tonight in the NBA on a short 4 game card. First up I'm taking another player prop and backing Austin Reaves to score at least 19 points tonight against the Bucks. The Lakers will be without Lebron James tonight so Reaves should see a spike in usage as will the rest of his Laker teammates. When Lebron hasn't played Reaves has gone over this number 6/9 times and with it being a pace up game in a decent matchup against the Bucks I look for Reaves to exceed this number tonight.


My second play is on the Dallas Mavericks ML tonight against the Kings. This is a horrible rest spot for the Kings who have played 3 games in 4 nights and 5 games in 7 nights. That's a lot of games in a short amount of time so I look for Dallas to take advantage of that. Both teams need this game so I expect Dallas to play with a sense of urgency and take care of business here against a Kings team that is inconsistent. Also Dallas has been hot recently and I think that continues here tonight against a Kings team that may be a little worn out.
