It's always scary backing bad teams but it's another Pirates spot today against the Rockies. I think they'll be able to get out to an early lead and not blow it late like last night. Great spot for Pittsburgh.

Pirates ML (-130) v. Rockies

Nola is on the mound tonight for Philadelphia. They are coming off two loses. This is when your ace should step up and deliver great performances. I think Nola will get it done and the slight pitching advantage will be enough tonight. Short dog on the road are not always the best edges, but riding with the spot here.

Phillies ML (+105) v. Braves

Great spot here for St. Louis. I'm not a big fan of Martinez for the Padres and he is coming off a gem of a game against the Brewers just a week ago. So it's a good time to fade him. It looks like it's a potential bullpen game for the Cardinals but after losing 8-0 yesterday, it's a great spot to buy low.

Cardinals ML (-115) v. Padres

I would have liked this pick even more of TB lost in extras yesterday, but still going to trust the read. The Rangers have been playing very well recently but their starting pitcher today hasn’t had a good season. Although Kluber isn’t the same guy we’ve all grown accustomed to for the Rays, he’s still a bit more trusting to back.

Pick: Rays ML -135 v. Rangers
Units: 1

Great fade spot here for Pittsburgh coming off a sweep of the Dodgers. Brubaker is also on the mound so Arizona should have ample chances for hard hit balls tonight.

Pick: Diamondbacks ML (-115) v. Pirates

Tampa Bay is coming off of 2 straight losses and are seeing Dakota? Sign me up. Hudson has won back to back starts now, and I'm just not a believer in his stuff. The Cardinals are also coming off a pretty lucky win in extra innings on Sunday. This is a perfect spot to back the Rays at home.

Rays ML (-150) v. Cardinals

Will the Mets lose two in a row? It's scary to fade such a great team, but I think San Diego is quietly getting their groove back, winning 4 of their last 5. The pitching matchup tonight is pretty even, with Padres' starter, Manaea, having an extra day of rest compared to Bassitt. I'm going with the home team tonight as I do think the Padres will do enough to get to Bassitt who usually doesn't go more than 5 or 6 innings.

Pick: Padres ML (-130) v. Mets

It is Strasburg's first start of the season. He is coming off a rehab outing where he looked solid and threw over 80 pitches in the stint. When healthy, he is one of the best arms in the league. But there is too much wear and tear, and miles on that arm. I think Miami, being at home, winning the last 2, has all the momentum and are seeing the ball very well. I'm going to fade the big name here and back the home team and look for the Marlins to take care of business.

Pick: Marlins ML (-135) v. Nationals

Awesome spot here for Chicago. They are coming off back to back losses and they get to play a Rangers team who have been inconsistent throughout the season. This will be Lopez's first start since September of last year so hopefully his offense picks up the slack and give him some runs support.

Pick: White Sox ML -125 v. Rangers
