In that same game, the Panthers averaged 4.5 yards per play and allowed 6.8 against them. The Panthers also gave up 571 yards to the Vikings and gained only 306 yards for themselves.
New York
Meanwhile, the Giants have been awful. They are 0-4 on the season after another loss to the Rams in week 6, 17-9.
Daniel Jones threw for 190 yards and 1 interception, and Jared Godd threw for 200 yards and 1 touchdown.
The Giants’ Wayne Gallman rushed 6 times for 45 yards, and Darius Slayton caught 3 receptions for 48 yards.
The Rams’ Malcolm Brown rushed for 38 yards on 9 carries, and Cooper Kipp caught 5 receptions for 69 yards and 1 touchdown.
Prediction
The current NFL Odds at your top sportsbooks are: Carolina Panthers -3-108 and NY Giants +3-108 via Heritage (Visit Our Heritage Sports Review).
The Giants really can not finish a drive and score. On top of that, their defense has too many holes, and now their team is filled with injuries.
New York suffers on the ground; they have only gained an average of 89.8 yards on the ground, but have done a decent job in the air with an average of 286.7 yards per game.
Their secondary is almost non-existent and their d-line is, again, filled with holes.
The Panthers have been hot and cold, but for the most part, they just need to remain consistent and they will excel. They have the talent, they just need to improve. The Giants should be an easier level of competition for Carolina this weekend.
Sam Darnold should be able to move the ball downfield past a weak secondary to cover the spread on the road.
NFL Pick: Carolina Panthers -3 (-103) via Heritage Sports (Visit Our Heritage Sports Review)
