UPDATE 4/10/2026: I just tried to log into my WagerWeb account. It is now SUSPENDED. I cannot access my own account. They have not paid me. They have not responded to emails for months. Now they have locked me out entirely. This is theft. Plain and simple.
Hey everyone, just want to share my experience with WagerWeb. I've filed a dispute via BMR already but I also want to shed light here publicly:
WagerWeb Stole $4,000 of My Money – Here's the Full Story (Costa Rica Scam)
Site: WagerWeb (Costa Rica-based)
Amount Stolen: $4,000 Deposits + ~$900 Winnings
Current Status: No payout since 12/20/2025. Today is 4/10/2026. No serious response.
Timeline of Theft & Lies:
Dec 20, 2025 – Account locked
Dec 21 – Jan 4 – Sent an initial email asking for clarification followed by three followups. Zero replies.
Jan 9 – Call customer service line for the first time. "Jamie" answers. She falsely accuses me of using "OddsJam" software (I had no idea what that even was). She says I will be paid after verification. I send documents immediately.
Jan 9 – Mar 22 – More emails. No replies. Continue calling every couple days. Same lame excuses.
Apr 8 – Finally had enough. Email threatening to go public. No reply.
Apr 9 – Called again today to let them know I'm going public, "Natalia" boldly responds,"Go ahead."
All throughout "Jamie" and "Natalia" give the same script: "Management doesn't see you as a priority. Your payout might take longer." It's gotten to to the point where they already recognize my voice and know who I am when I call. That's how often I call.
-- How "Jamie"& "Natalia" Are Trained to String You Along:
These two are clearly trained to lie and delay. Here is their playbook:
1. The False Promise:"You will be paid, don't worry. Just send verification."(Spoiler: It never happens.)
2. The Blame Shift: They literally told me, "Management doesn't see you as a priority." How wild is that?
3. The Fake Accusation: Randomly accused me of posting on forums, specifically SportsBettingReview (SBR). Also claimed I used "OddsJam"which at the time, I had never even heard of. Now I see it's a website that you can pay a monthly subscription to get good picks. Crazy how they just hurl false accusations and there's noway for you to defend yourself. When I denied it, they brushed me off with, "Hmm, yeah, we know, that's what you all say." Absolutely unfair.
4. The Wall: "There's nothing I can do, it's all management. You can email them." I haven't had a single email ever answered. Not one.
5. The Denied Escalation: When you ask to speak to management, they say no. You cannot speak to anyone with authority. So, there's literally no way to get through to anyone because these two "representatives"stone wall you.
These are not mistakes. This is a script. They are trained to burn time, exhaust you, and hope you give up. I have been calling and emailing for months. Every conversation is the same empty promises.
-- Other Major Red Flags:
1. They ask for your PASSWORD. Not a security phrase. Your actual login password. This is insane.
2. It's a house operation. When you call, you can hear a TV playing in the background and your voice echoes through the call signifying that you're on speaker. This is not a professional office. This is someone's living room and a Mickey Mouse operation.
3. Emails are a black hole. I have sent over a dozen emails. Not one has ever been answered. Not a single one.
Current Status: No money. No answers. Emails ignored for 4+ months. They have stopped pretending.
What I am doing:
Posting this everywhere (SBR, BMR, Trustpilot, Twitter, etc.)
Filing a complaint with Costa Rican authorities
Making sure every bettor knows: WagerWeb is a scam. Do not deposit.
