I actually like Zilisch a bit at the opening odds of 5/1 or so.

If you think you can somehow fade the top two you’re going to get a hell of a price.

I never thought I’d see Larson +2200 or more to win a road-course race.

Or @Tanko ‘s boy Byron at 12/1 or more.

i might bet toyota again if odds right.

Reddick, Bell, Gibbs, Briscoe all very solid road course racers for Toyota.

Reddick was the man for a stretch pre-SVG with three total Cup road course wins spanning 2022-2023 including COTA 2023. He will be be attempting to win the first three races of the season, something no driver in history has accomplished.

Gibbs won four Xfinity series road course races. Also, Briscoe won Indy road course twice in Xfinity.

Bell has won three Cup road course races including last year COTA.

Having a guy like SVG in the field who won an astonishing 83 percent of the Cup road course races last season throws everyone else’s odds into the stratosphere.

Plus most of those races weren’t event close. SVG was so much better than the rest of the field.

Now throw Zilisch into the Cup mix this season, and it send everyone else’s odds even higher.

Not as good as the NFL but better thank Yak Racing.

@Tanko @BigJay first to respond gets to call it, heads or tails. Important for the lottery style selection process for the showdown. draft order is snaking.

Whoever wins the coin toss gets to decide whether they want 1st pick, 4th, 5th, & 8th or 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th of the bet options I present, such selecting from the list of head 2 head driver matchups, etc

I will post options tomorrow. You will then draft your bet options and make your picks by friday at midnight--you'll both be under the gun to work together. Fail to make finish Friday night. You both lose. Most winners, wins. Tie breaker will be explained tomorrow too.

It will look like this as an example:

with my first pick, i draft the head to head match up option (James vs John ). From there, you will pick the winning driver and make all of your final picks in a single post

Pick 4. JJGOLD
Pick 5: ....

Hope this is not too confusing. It will be easier once I post all of the h2h options.
