Because marathonbet is an old platform for more than 20 years,i sign up this month, and it was very smooth at the beginning. I am very satisfied with the speed of deposit and withdrawal. So I kept increasing the deposit and betting amount, but after making profit on 17th May,I received an email requesting verification, so 18th I submitted the required documents.

But since I received the verification email, my account has been restricted. The betting amount can only bet about 0.1 dollor,each time, and the withdrawal function is turned off, and only the deposit function is reserved.

Atfer submitted, I use live chat,ask about the verification progress of my account, but the online customer service just replied, nothing can help me,they do not know any about the verification ,and i also can not do anything ,only can do is wait.time may be a week, maybe a few months or more long,it depend on the progress of their verification department.(this reply seems scammer)

Then I called +44 1273 964706 (Damn the pay call, cost me $30 for 2 minutes) and got the same answer as the online customer service.

Then I try to email to care@marathonbet.com, payments.asia@marathonbet.com, but also onley get auto-response email,nothing respond.

I try to contact by twitter and facebook ,but theirs be closed long time.

Finally, I searched for similar cases through google, so I came to bookmakersreview and found that there are many similar cases.

Many comments say that verifying the account and delaying time are all fraudulent behaviors, the purpose is to embezzle the funds of the guests. But my account is only $2000, as a platform that has been running for 20 years, and the bookmakersreview score is B, is marathonbet going to scam for $2000?

So i will record this verification process,and draw a conclusion: marathonbet is trustworthy or scammer?

The 7th day,if there is still no response,i will file a complaint,aks help for BMR,thanks

Weird that you were originally able to withdraw and had no issues do so if I read it correctly. Keep us updated and file that complaint if need be. gL

he department asked today you to upload : This could be any one of the following:

• driving licence
• national identity card
• military identification
• official birth certificate

You must also provide us with one photo, in which in one hand and next to your face you are holding the page of your passport with a photo and number and series and in the other hand a sheet of paper with the following number written on it.

i plan to do and upload.

Yesterday I was very angry, because my account was reset and asked to upload again, this is the third upload, and still not email inform and tell me why, and what to need upload.
Later, I argue the online customer service once, and then the customer service helped to query and sent the following content.

Hi lead08,

There is not much BMR can do to intervene for you when the sportsbook is asking for KYC information.

They see this as a security issue and honestly everything you have described in this thread so far is within normal industry standards for second level KYC, so we do not even have grounds to question them technically.

I will add your complaint to the list we are about to present to Marathonbet's owner company management today though and hopefully that might encourage them to get your account sorted out faster.
