Too much pride is involved on both our side the the Russian side.

We can print the money, Russia has the oil. Both sides willing to play the waiting game. Let's see what happens in the next 4-5 years. Obviously, troops won't be moving the frontline much. Ukraine will continue to get bombed. Russia will continue to lose a million soldiers every couple of years.

I don't believe for 1 second the war stops even if Trump is elected. Not that he will.

He's a head of a very corrupt country. I think he's in an impossible situation. But he's doing what we tell him to do, so unless he gets assassinated by his own, he'll go down in history as 'the guy who dared say no to Putin and won'. Winning may or may not involve getting territory back, but he'll reorganize the country and make it the next Poland or Estonia.

Give him 10-15 years...
