Has anyone ever felt this way with a book.

I normally just play at Pinnacle and bet365 and they have everything that I need or would want. Sometimes if I come across a great bonus from a book that caters to Americans I will grab it and hopefully lose it to another book. What usually happens, I will run up the balance at the book I got the bonus from which I really have no desire to play at. The lines are not good and don't have a lot of the games I play. I had to go on Live chat numerous times for them to increase my limits and each time , they would change the line 10-15 cents not in my favor, this happened 8 times. It took a couple months but I finally went bust at this book , it was tough to do but it finally happened. It was a huge huge relief to see my balance at 0. Anyone else take a bonus and try to lose at the book but usually win there? I made some profit but the book really rubbed me the wrong way changing the lines when inquiring about an increase (8 times) I am not going to name the book just in case if I am ever offered the same bonus again. But thanking the man upstairs I went bust there.

Yeah I've had a couple times where I wanted out of certain books because after taking a bonus and beating them like a drum they started with their slimy tactics bullshit.

Serious question for you PiMike... How do you know which books can be trusted?

I say that because a highly rated book did some BS like the steps flyingillini mentioned several years ago. I won't mention the book since I still have a balance and would like to hold onto it. Also, it might have been just a situation where they didn't want my play after I went on a mini-run. IDK.

But, the only way I know to check if a book can be trusted is to use BMR ratings AND seek feedback from fellow posters on various books. What else can you do?

It is a trusted book and many here play there including you but they pulled a lot of bullshit moves with me. Screw Em. Very thankful to get their bonus and be done with them. They screwed around initially after I deposited too. Kept changing customer service people saying no bonus after they said they would give me one. But the whole changing the line on me 8 times is absurd. They said to contact them for bet increases. But when I did they always changed it.

Ratings are paid for for the most part. Ratings mean nothing. Do your due diligence

BMR ratings cannot be trusted anymore. They don't update them no matter how bad a book gets. Seeking feedback from other players is the best way to make the decision.
There are really only 5 or 6 books that are worth a shit anymore...
