Little backround, had my Bovada account for maybee 7-8 years but haven't used in in probably 5. Started betting sports (mostly live betting) for around 4-6 weeks and mostly broke even or lost small. cashed out twice and had to redeposit 3 times. Eventually was up 8k total and tried to withdraw profit for first time. Asked for ID, utility bills etc, provided all of it, they asked for more documents and provided it all. Took them over a week to respond then sent me email that account was closed for

1. multi accounting 2. bonus abuse 3. being part of betting syndicate or something.

all of these are absurd as I haven't logged onto or created another bovada account ever. I also cleared literally 0 bonuses on there even though they kept sendng me please come back emails etc with offers. The last one, no idea what they even mean but after doing some googling it seems like a common email people get when wining and stumbled upon this forum.

anyways, they let me withdraw my 4k "deposit" and they kept 8k for no reason. After chat with sopport asking for clarificaiton they refused to tell me anything, just said they have evidence, which they dont, but wont tell me what it is or provide any. Then they pointed me to T & S where there is appeal/resolution form which I filled out with all detials asking for proof/clarification and they have ghosted me without even a respond that they recieved my submission

Anyone here dealt with this, am I fucked and they can just keep my winnings or is there anyhting I can do, thanks

'mostly live betting'

'3. being part of betting syndicate or something'

That combo is what a lot off offshores are either using to limit, ban or outright confiscate now and there's not much that can be done about it. un-regulated operates on a code of what most others are doing or feel comfortable with, basically collusion. Right now the amount of outs that will allow you to hit them hard with live betting, coupled with using Advantage Play tools is probably down to maybe 2-3 books at the most. Even Bookmaker seems to be joining these ranks as of late with their KYC/Video/Freezing Bonanza. Which, in the US (Pinny will let you do this but no available here) leaves Bet105, which have Global Limits (Liquidity) to start with and BetOnline, which is an honorable group but will just limit you before getting to far ahead with these markets.

Limited there a couple years ago due to NHL markets play. No OJ plays, just top down on soft numbers there. Got paid at least. Definitely going downhill if they cannot at least pay you out (although depending on the reasoning and patterns...could be a different story). NHL isn't that popular so it was only a matter of time.

The fishiest part about Bovada's request for all of this information is that they completely disable your account and then take their time to give you any updates. You can't log in or go to their forums which is one of the few places that has helped with past Bovada issues in my experience. Most other shops would put your withdrawal on pause and ask for more information before processing the payout, but they wouldn't prevent you from being able to access your account.
