Hi and thank you for contacting us at BMR.

Self exclusion is a tricky subject. Whereas you asked to be excluded you did return and wager days later. They will not refund your losses (most likely) because what would prevent you from repeating this pattern in the future? You should contact them again and make you self exclusion situation case very clear. Let us know what happens here.

No you miss read I did not ask for self exclusion because I know I could use it after a certain time...I requested my account to Ben closed permanently to which they replied They is closed...they have also replied that after I asked for it to be closed I was able To reopen it again...so looks like they accept some liability for it so waiting but what do you guys think

I don't think Optibet's behaviour does them any credit, but I agree that your chances of getting your money back are extremely slim. If you didn't go through their formal self-exclusion procedure, then that probably gives them enough leeway to wriggle out of this. It might have been a different story if you had asked to be self-excluded permanently rather than just to have your account closed permanently. I don't have an Optibet account, but a cursory look at their responsible gambling procedures suggests that they also have an online option to close your account permanently and, with the benefit of hindsight, that's what you should have done. Sorry I can't be more hopeful or helpful.

Yes.i am
happy and definitely lesson learned in the pitfalls in gambling..I can hopefully say I will not gamble anymore and I can honestly say they were brilliant.i was very lucky with the fact that when I asked to close the account I asked for it done permanently..this is what saved me...that they did not do it and aloud me to reopen it.they agreed straight away it was there mistake...and it is actually quite a decent bookies with very fast payout and lots of point when rolling over the cash with blackjack.but enough gambling for me now..is over and I will not do it again..cause I started to see red chasing the loss and ended up losing 3000 1200 being profit...really is an eye opener how dangerous gambling can be
