I am curious. I know most people here use Bitcoin regularly. Does it concern you when the price is dropping daily like this as far as loosing money in the the short time it takes to make a transaction with a sportsbook? Is it not really a factor?
Deposits aren’t the problem in your scenario it’s withdrawing from sports book waiting for them to transfer. You go to bed it’s not there yet wake up still not there go to work come home it’s there but shrunk lol. But they’ve gotten better in Expediting over the years.

That is why I only like to withdraw Bitcoin. Not as volatile as smaller coins

So if there is any worries it comes on the withdrawing side? As long as you have a quick prayer it seems no problem. Thanks Biggins and Ennik.

Correct, only on the withdrawal side. Look at the BMR monthly thread telling you player experience with payout time frames. I hear the betonline are consistently super fast. BookMaker is almost always within 30 minutes for me and at most 2 hours. Bovada was 45 minutes last week for me.

Yes and the same when you are waiting for hours and sometimes 3 days for sites like Coinbase to get confirmations and it continues to drop & you're losing money

As others have mentioned, some books are super fast so it doesn't matter much. But in general, I do try to refrain from withdrawing funds when the market is volatile.

With BOL/SB you can withdraw anytime. They always give you the fair mkt price at the moment you're paid.

For almost every other book, especially 5D, they will freeroll you on price changes. For example if you request a 30k payout right now with the price of BTC being 30k, then if the BTC price goes to 40k, you will get paid 0.75 BTC. But if the BTC price goes to 20k, they'll give you only 1 BTC. The slower the book is in paying, the more you're at risk. 5D for example can take 24hours. And given today's BTC climate, it's imaginable the price could fluctuate as much as the example I just gave.

Anyways, once you have the BTC in your hands, volatility helps and hurts you symmetrically and it's up to you if you want to expose yourself to it.

Well got the notification I was waiting for as BTC went below 30k so another dip purchase. Gotta milk this bear market as much as possible. Liking a lot the resistance that LTC is showing around $65-$70 but yeah definitely not even close to the good old days. Good times are coming though!
