I made a $500 deposit to Draft Kings a handful of days ago.

I often play in the casino. I caught a 2k win for a $2 spin. I upped my bet to $5 a spin. Shortly therefore after I caught a 12k spin.

I keep winning 2k to 3k spins often. I upped my bet to $25 a spin. I caught another 12k on a spin.

I upped my bet to $50 a spin and caught another 12k spin.

i had 40k in my account. I keep playing $50 a spin. Now 40k turns into 20k. I stop for the night.

I resume playing the next morning alternating between $25 and $50 a spin. I’m down to 8k. I hit a 16k spin on a $25 bet. I’m back in the game with $24k.

i decided to up my bet to $50 again. In a little over hour I’m down to 6k. It was amazing. Nothing would hit. I kept telling myself it has to hit and when it does it will be over 100k.

I changed games with 6k left doing $25 spins. In about an hour I’m busted out.

I redeem $200 in crowns I earned for playing this insane amount of money for the day.

I do $5 spins and bust out quickly.

I check my email and see that I earned extra crowns for a promo they had. I cash them in for about $190. These extra crowns earned me diamond status of their rewards program. I get a complimentary $250 added to my account. I go to bed.

I wake up and start with $5 spins. I’m losing so I reduce my bet to 2.50. I bust out.

I then deposit $300. There is a 100% match bonus. I have $600. I do $3 spins. I’m down to $150. I then do $1.50 spins and I lose.

that’s that. I went from $500 to 40k to $0 in two days. I went from $50 a spin to $1.25 a spin.
I’m itching for my host to come back from vacation to request a casino loss rebate for the last three weeks. I probably lost 3k, not counting the wins and losses during this crazy session so maybe I get $300 to $400 rebate.

$500 to 40k wasn’t enough for me and it led to my demise.

oh well.

very sorry to hear this friend, online casinos are without a doubt a gambler's worst enemy. not only are they all rigged, but some will flat out steal from your balance. in sum, the horror stories are endless and everyone has plenty to tell.

only solution is to disable all online casinos at every book you play at.

Not counting the legal books I was very frugal regarding playing at offshore books casinos.

heritage casino was garbage. No interest playing there. The old wagerweb, pre heritage take over, I consistently played. I won a lot, I lost a lot. Biggest hit was a 30k hand. Probably lost more than I won but it was close.

5 Dimes had what I desired casino wise. Ages ago I had a phone call with Tony disputing a wager I made over the phone. The rep placed the bet on the opposite team. The call didn’t go well and he said he’s closing my account.

about 10 years later I see my account wasn’t closed down. I make this my exclusive book. It has everything I want.

A year after playing regularly in one of their specific casinos I hit on a $45 bet for 90K. I only played in this specific casino/Software. Years ago they had this casino/software verified by some bigwig renowned casino auditor and it was deemed very fair. There’s post at SBR regarding the validity of this eons ago.

I’ve also hit a couple 16k wins, about twice a year on a $6 bet. It was never about how, rather when.

just to backtrack for a bit. When I hit my 30k hand at wagerweb they took the casino offline for a few weeks. They made it a point to proactively contact me letting me know the casino is back online. After this point I never hit anything over 3k ish. It was obvious to me they tinkered with the software in some fashion.

In closing I can’t say that 5Dimes, the specific casino I played in, was crooked. I’ve hit numerous regular big hands there and the giant.

5 Dimes, RIP. Moved to BAS, which offered the same offerings. Hit a few decent hands. Software change, RIP the casino I played in.

I've dabbled in online casinos for 25yrs, and your step by step story is familiar to most and the perfect example as to once the book/casino notices you are winning extensively, or that they believe you've profited enough, they will flip the switch, and you have no chance after that.

These words you posted above says it all:

"i decided to up my bet to $50 again. In a little over hour I’m down to 6k. It was amazing. Nothing would hit"

When t his happens, it is no longer 'random'

They have decided enough is enough and they raise the difficulty setting.

For those who don't know much about video games, I've explained this many times.

Most video games you play, have difficulty levels you can choose to play at.

Let's use Madden Football as an example.

If I'm playing against the computer, I can choose easy, normal, hard, or all pro.

So with that being said & explained, here's the only other 2 things you need to know:

1. These casinos games are merely video games just the same

2. But it's also a video game WITH LOTS OF MONEY AT STAKE which means the difficulty levels they control are even more important

Don't get me wrong though, you can make out good with online casinos if you know when to stop. I've done quite well myself.

If you're bankroll is ok you can also nickel & dime the casino to your advantage to make sports wagers.

Sorry bud. Been there all too many times myself. Just damn monopoly money to us degenerates. Truth is if we had bet sensible to start with than there never would be that huge of a balance to begin with. Most never understand this. They just see that you won and lost such a big balance in a short period of time and wonder why you didn't stop. Once you start winning significant amounts than your brain is forever fvcked. gL on next reload!!

Did you make a withdrawal of the 90K?

Horrible

Hate these stories I have done it also MGM and Draftkings but much smaller maybe $1500

If you cannot learn discipline just do not do
let's get it back in 2022

by back I mean the full 40k+
let's get it back in 2022

by back I mean the full 40k+
Wishful thinking! I won’t hold my breath though. No way I could build a sizable roll just playing sports. Maybe 10 to 20k off of $200 to $500 deposits if I’m lucky. Keep pressing until I lose.

The casino is where I get the big boosts. Sad to say it didn’t work out this time. It was the most I’ve won on legal sites in 3 years of playing.

Cliff Notes: you lost $500
Cliff notes chapter 2…….

I received a $400 casino loss rebate from the $500 deposit. They probably felt bad, ha, that I pissed away 40k, but that’s water under the bridge. From the $400 I’m holding steady with a 3.5k balance I’ll only use on sports. This is at DraftKings.

chapter 3…….deposited $250 at live casino and had it up to 5k. They have limited withdrawal options, PayPal being one. I read that any paypal translation over $600 triggers a tax form you need to claim starting in 2022 so that’s a no go for me.

anyway I resumed playing and keep going from 8k to 7k off of the $250. Need to call the echeck people tomorrow to update my banking info so I could withdraw tomorrow.

I’ll update this once I receive my withdrawal or bust out. The plan is to not go below 7k. At the time of this post I’m sitting at $7,300.
