The US Open continues and this year has been exciting! In a bizarre twist of events, have been more upsets according to ATP odds on the ATP Side than on the WTA side. Taking this into account, what is the best bet to make a proper ATP or WTA pick?

Greet Minnen vs. Bianca Andreescu

G. Minnen+295+270+273+255
B. Andreescu-375-320-335-357
All Odds for this Matchup

Bianca Andreescu is one of the most talented players on tour, but she's had problems staying healthy. When she is healthy she's been brilliant however and she continues her undefeated streak at the US Open. That's right, Andreescu has never lost on court at the US Open. Now she is 9-0 after an opening-round victory three-set victory over Victoria Golubic and in the 2nd round rolled in a straight-set victory over Lauren Davis. Andreescu's form is starting to come together and playing this way, she now has to be seen as a legitimate contender to be holding the trophy at the end of the fortnight.

Greet Minnen is considered to be a doubles specialist. Playing singles is not her specialty. Minnen has had a couple of nice performances so far at the Open, however, beating Nadia Podoroska and Ludmila Samsonova. Like Andreescu, she took three sets to win her first match but won the second round in straight sets against Samsonova, which was an impressive victory with the way Samsonova has been playing. So while this is great form for Minnen she is still a couple of tiers below Andreescu when they are both playing their best.

Andreescu has the advantage in almost every category. She's a better server, she has more variety in her game with both offense and defense, and she can be more consistent as well. And yes, she should win fairly easily. Originally I considered just laying the spread of games on Bianca, but instead I decided to add her in a parlay with other players that I feel should win easily.

Ash Barty vs. Shelby Rogers

S. Rogers+600+625+640+550
All Odds for this Matchup

Ash Barty is the undisputed number one player in the world right now. After winning Wimbledon she has got more than 10,000 ranking points and has a stranglehold on the number one position. Barty is playing brilliant tennis! Her serve is on point, she mixes the slice and two-handed backhand quite well, and she's consistent and aggressive. Barty has been one of the easiest players to back this year because of her consistency and dominance.

Barty has beaten Vera Zvonareva and Clara Tauson to start the tournament. Barty has played fantastic and hasn't lost a set in her last eight matches.

Barty's opponent Shelby Rogers is finding her form at the Open. Rogers beat fellow American Madison Brengle and then dispatched Romanian Sorana Cirstea. Although these results are encouraging for Rogers, stepping up against Barty will be a whole different ball game. Barty is quicker, and she can use the slice to keep the ball low and attack Rogers’ limited mobility. While Rogers possesses power, Barty's quickness should allow her to defend quite well and Ash is a master at switching from offense to defense.

Barty should continue to roll that's why I'm adding her to this parlay.

Reilly Opelka vs. Nikoloz Basilashvili

R. Opelka-195-177-185-200

I added one more favorite to fill out this parlay. Opelka has been dominant at the open so far. He has yet to lose a set. He beat Korean Soonwoo Kwan in the first round and he dispatched Lorenzo Musetti in the 2nd round. Opelka had an absurd 31 aces in a straight-set victory over Musetti.

Basilashvili got a walkover in the first round against American Sebastian Korda. He then defeated another American Maxime Cressy in straight sets. Basilashvili will face his toughest American test yet in Opelka. While Basilashvili is a talented player, Reilly Opelka's form is much better right now and the way that he is serving is very good. Opelka probably has the best return game of any of the young big-serving Americans. He is like an improved version of big John Isner. Opelka is probably America’s best hope to win a major title.

Opelka makes it very hard to break his serve, and even if you hold your serve, once you get to a tiebreak, he's tough to beat in the tiebreak, because his service points are almost freebies when he lands his big bomb of a first serve. I'll take Opelka to be the final leg of this Saturday parlay.
