This George Mason team has played stifling defense the last two games giving up only 48.5 points serving them two easy wins. They got upset by Duquesne at home the game prior and coach Tony Skinn said it was one of the worse efforts of the season and he got on their ass about it.

Both teams match up rather evenly besides GMU’s defense has an advantage. St. Joes has won the last two match ups both close games. I see the better defensive team getting the win here on a neutral site. St. Joes has been real up and down and hasn’t won two in a row since early February.

Laying a lot of points is not really a bet I often take. Too many little factors throughout a game can have you fall short of the number. Now taking +10 points is definitely a bet I have taken before and will continue to do, but in general I stay away from high spread games.
