it can help back pain for sure. shouldn't put stress on it. not all back pain is created equally. depending upon etiology.it helps lower back pain?? i would figure it would put some strain on it, no?

Nope actually it’s suppose to reverse lower back pain if you do it correctly. YouTube Knees over toes Le to get familiar with the science of it.it helps lower back pain?? i would figure it would put some strain on it, no?
Good luck Le I hope it can help you. At some point I will try this myself out in the field.i just asked my bf if he's heard of Knees over Toes (he watches workout stuff all the time) and he said that guy is definitely helpful, so i'll check him out. thank you guys for sharing
if my back gets worse, i blame you both and knees over toes guy lmao
Pulling and dragging sleds will get you strong as hell. If you have back pain anytime your back goes into flexion use your stomach, hips, hamstrings, and glutes to get it out of flexion. Just plain walking also helps walk 20 minutes a day everyday and mix it between pavement, grass, and sand.Good luck Le I hope it can help you. At some point I will try this myself out in the field.
There is no reason you or JDS should have back pain. If it is radiating it could be nerve pain go see a doctor or a good physical therapist. Just walk don't do any other cardio and try to do all your strength exercise with bands and dumbells in a standing position.(no sitting, and no machines).so i could barely do a workout today because the pain from my lower back is radiating to my hips will the sled definitely help? because i will need to go somewhere else to use it. ive been wanting to switch gyms anyway.
Stay off of the elipticle it is to repetitive and rotates the hips under which is completely unnatural. Machines work muscle not motion and life is lived in motion. Ask yourself how can a machine work for you, me, JDS, and Le? They were made to get people in and out of a gym without trainers or libality.I'm not sure there's any cure for knees other than less weight & Aleve
I'm staring double replacement right in the face here and that's w a daily regiment of tennis & elipticle and weights
You just can't get the knees stronger, it seems, that's one tissue area consigned to your DNA determined weight/ height
This weekend I did 2 hours of something similar called "the lawnmower push." I'm questioning what it is good for...700 yards of backwards walking sled pulls this morning after regular leg workout.
will be on the couch rest of day when I get home

i definitely have nerve pain because it radiates to my hips. but ok i'll just walk, however i haven't been doing machines, only resistance bands. i have a pt but it doesn't help ): i'll go lighter today with everything and ill see how it goes. question though, would ice or heat compress help? There is no reason you or JDS should have back pain. ok ok let me try both, i've only been doing heat but it only helps while the heat is onLe I use both, I always use ice 1st & then I soak my back like a bitch in a hot bath (no offense making fun of my self).
yeah i'm the kind of person to try to tough it out, but thats always not the best. i think you are right though, my boyfriend had to get back surgery because his sciatic nerve was being compressed..he had major hip pain and couldn't feel his left leg. i'm getting nervous cause i dont want that to happen to meagree with advice to see a MD for referral to PT
but I understand that young people will often put this off when it's not totally crippling.
might be worth it to look into piriformis syndrome as an issue, that could be helped with stretching the piriformis with pigeon pose type manuevers. basically your tight piriformis could be compressing the sciatic nerve that runs right underneath it.
If your PT isn't helping you find another one. They are either fantastic or terrible and not much in between. Personally not a fan of ice or heat because swelling is just what is injured or damaged getting blood pumped into it and why would you want to halt that process unless it gets way out of control it is the same concept with a fever when somebody is sick. Walk, work your grip, and work your stomach without flexion by wearing a belt and bracing 360 around the belt like your trying to break it. Don't put off getting checked out you are too young and in shape you shouldn't be having any back pain something is wrong. Also worked construction for over a decade. One thing I noticed were the tinners and electricians always had bad backs. Make sure your feet are even on the ladder and push out on the outside of your shoes against the ladder. Don't be on a ladder for hours get down and walk around every 30 minutes.I have multiple herniated discs in my lower lumbar from working in the construction trade. I also have degenerative disc disease. I do a number of things for alleviating my pain without narcotics some of the things that you have mentioned above.
