It was a disappointing 0-3 in NFL week 7, so we have work to do this week as we head into 8-1-12 (-4.7 units). Last week, we went with a higher variance route with two anytime touchdown bets at plus money.
Our other selection, rookie running back Quinshon Judkins had a stellar game for the Browns, rushing for 75 yards and two touchdowns in the opening quarter. Unluckily, he only rushed another 9 yards during the rest of the match, and we agonizingly missed cashing tickets by one yard.

NFL Prop Bets Week 8 At-a-glance
Before diving into this week’s individual player props, let’s set the stage for Week 8. Several matchups stand out for prop betting, including divisional rematches and emerging rookie storylines.
The Eagles’ offense continues to find rhythm through tight end Dallas Goedert, Drake Maye looks to extend his hot streak against the Browns, and Isiah Pacheco’s workload remains a key talking point for the Chiefs as they chase another AFC title run.
We’ve analyzed these key games to identify value plays using the latest data and live odds. Below, you’ll find our favorite player props for Week 8.
Eagles’ Dallas Goedert (Anytime Touchdown +225)
New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles – Sunday, October 26, 1:00 PM EDT
Philadelphia Eagles’ tight end Dallas Goedert looks like an excellent value pick to score a touchdown against the New York Giants this week.
The New York leg of this divisional clash two weeks ago saw the thirty-year-old from South Dakota feature strongly with nine receptions and 110 receiving yards. Interestingly, the only time he has gone over 44 yards in all 7 games this campaign.
The opening line of 39.5 receiving yards is very tempting if Goedert gets the work he did in the Big Apple two weeks ago, and maybe some alternate lines above that threshold at bigger prices are worth a glance, but we are going an even higher variance route.
Goedert has scored five touchdowns in six games, including one versus the Giants, so the +225 on offer at Bovada is an auto click.
Patriots’ Drake Maye (Over 228.5 Passing Yards -110)
Cleveland Browns vs. New England Patriots – Sunday, October 26, 1:00 PM EDT
There is no doubt that the Cleveland Browns are ultra-solid in defense, and their team’s foundation is how difficult they are to break down.
The opening line for the New England Patriots’ star quarterback Drake Maye seems a little too short and shows the Browns too much respect.
Only twice has Maye dropped below this week’s line, and on four of the other five occasions that he has gone over the line, it has been by a clear margin of 40 yards or more.
Factor in that Maye is at the peak of his powers with home advantage; the line at BetOnline will only go upwards, and we have a clear margin to take the MVP candidate over the passing yards for this game’s top player prop.
Isiah Pacheco (Under 59.5 Rushing & Receiving Yards -110)
Washington Commanders vs. Kansas City Chiefs – Monday, October 27, 8:15 PM EDT
As the Kansas City Chiefs’ campaign for a fourth Super Bowl during the last decade gathers pace, so does the fundamental role of running back Isiah Pacheco within the team.
The twenty-six-year-old has had a consistent season so far, with his rushing attempts and yards growing by over 50% during the last two games versus the Las Vegas Raiders and the Detroit Lions.
Nevertheless, the “Rushing and Receiving yards” looks a little too high and an overreaction at 59.5; despite respecting Isiah Pacheco’s obvious prowess, he has yet to reach that total this year.
Consider taking the under for this player prop before the odds change!
