There are only two weeks left in the college football regular season. Then, it’ll be time for Conference Championships and Bowl season.
However, the SEC has already rubbed some people the wrong way. Many SEC teams have added low-tier FBS programs to their Week 13 schedules. Many fans from other teams are up in arms, screaming that what these SEC teams are doing isn’t fair.
Ultimately, the SEC will be adopting a nine-game conference football schedule starting next year. So, the SEC heard the fans and will fix this moving forward. However, it doesn’t fix anything for this season.
That said, at least the other conferences are playing legitimate conference opponents. We can bet on those games. Check out all the College Football odds Week 13 on BMR right now!
NCAAF Odds Week 13 At-a-Glance
The big game on the slate is between the USC Trojans and the Oregon Ducks. A win from USC could knock Oregon out of the running for a birth in the College Football Playoff. It would also give USC hope, which might allow it to sneak into the picture.
Another exciting game is in the Big 12 between the BYU Cougars and Cincinnati Bearcats. BYU has to win out the rest of the way for a chance at making the CFP. On the road, it won’t be so easy.
Let’s talk about it.
USC Trojans vs. Oregon Ducks (-10.5)
Saturday, November 22 – 3:30 PM ET
The two former Pac-12 squads, USC and Oregon, will compete in Week 13 of the college football season. Both teams are ranked inside the Top-25, and they both still have a chance at making the College Football Playoff.
Oregon has moved from -8.5 to -10.5 since the game opened. However, USC at +10.5 might be hard to pass up. The Trojans have scored almost the same number of points as Oregon this season.
The Trojans will need to block better, especially against Oregon. That said, Oregon’s pass rush hasn’t been as effective as it has in previous seasons. That should allow USC’s quarterback Jayden Maiava some time in the pocket to make good decisions and excellent throws. If he’s able to limit turnovers, the sky is the limit for the Trojans.
Michigan Wolverines vs. Maryland Terrapins (+13.5)
Saturday, November 22 – 4:00 PM ET
The Maryland Terrapins announced they’ll keep head coach Mike Locksley for another season. Instead of eating his salary in a buyout, they’d rather spend more money on talent and give him better players to work with.
While that sounds great, it won’t help the Terrapins this season. They’re 4-6 and need two straight wins to be bowl eligible.
This is a battle between two highly-touted freshmen quarterbacks. Malik Washington of Maryland has actually thrown for more yards this season and has more passing touchdowns. While both are runners, Bryce Underwood of Michigan is the better one.
Michigan has played in some tight games that probably shouldn’t have been. The Wolverines beat Northwestern and Purdue by single digits. Maryland will be able to keep this game close, too.
BYU Cougars vs. Cincinnati Bearcats (+1.5)
Saturday, November 22 – 8:00 PM ET
The BYU Cougars are looking to stick around in the College Football Playoff pool. After a devastating 29-7 loss to Texas Tech, BYU earned a 44-13 win over TCU at home. The Big 12 doesn’t get much love, but if they’re going to get two teams into the league, it’d be Texas Tech and BYU.
That said, BYU must win the rest of its games and might even have to win the Big 12 Championship. The defense has struggled with its tackling, but the secondary has been incredibly good this year.
On the flip side, the Bearcats are trending down after losing two straight games. The defense has given up 30+ points in back-to-back games, and the offense has lost its edge.
But despite all that, the Cougars went from -2.5 to -1.5. There are some Cincinnati believers at home. I’m not one of them.

The USC-Oregon game should be a classic Pac-12 battle. USC hasn’t won big games under Lincoln Riley. But he’s got a huge chance this weekend against a battle-tested Oregon.
In addition, it would be poetic justice if Maryland could find a way to knock off Michigan. Even if Maryland doesn’t win, it’s likely they’ll come close.
